Powools provides a collection surface for the litter-box area, while its uses also extend to catching food and water spills or offering a soft spot for a cat to settle. The large format makes the mat useful when you want one surface to serve these everyday pet-care purposes.

How does the double-layer design catch litter?

The honeycomb-hole top allows loose litter from the box and your cat’s paws to fall through, where it is held by the waterproof bottom layer. This structure is designed to minimize litter tracking and keep the floor around the box tidier. The mat is compatible with clumping, crystal and pellet litter, so the collection system works with each of these litter forms.

The top has large honeycomb openings for litter to pass through.

The lower layer collects the litter that falls through.

The 46 x 35 in (117 x 89 cm) size gives the box area a broad catching surface.

What is the mat made from, and is it comfortable for cats?

Powools makes this cat litter mat from EVA, with a soft, non-toxic and odor-free surface intended to be gentle on sensitive paws. Place it under food and water bowls to catch spills and crumbs, or use its soft surface as a place for your cat to rest.
