A wire crate can feel exposed when a dog needs a place to settle, or when the crate is used during training, at home, or while traveling. This cover adds a shaded, enclosed feel while keeping adjustable openings available. Its design is intended for everyday crate setups where privacy, access, and airflow all matter.

Does the cover create a calmer, more private crate space?

Yes. The cover helps block distractions and provides shade, creating a more enclosed setting for rest and crate training. Its breathable construction allows airflow, so the crate can feel more sheltered without being fully sealed off. The added privacy can support a dog’s focus and comfort in busy surroundings, while adjustable panels let you change how open the crate feels.

• Designed to reduce visual distractions around the crate.
• Suitable for home use, travel, and crate-training routines.

Which wire crates can the 4Knines cover fit?

The cover comes in 36-inch, 42-inch, and 48-inch options and is designed for most standard wire crates. It is also compatible with most major crate brands. Choose the size that corresponds to your crate’s stated size to get a snug fit; the product is made for wire crates rather than every type of kennel.

• Three crate-size options accommodate a range of standard wire crates.
• Designed for use at home or during travel.

How do the panels and setup work?

Velcro corners help make setup quick, and roll-up panels on the front and sides provide access to the crate. Adjust the openings to manage light, airflow, and visibility for your dog’s setting. The panels make it possible to open the cover for access while keeping other areas shaded and covered.

• Front and side panels roll up for adjustable access.
• Velcro corner seams secure the cover during setup.

How should I clean the quilted cover?

The cover is machine washable and should be laid flat to dry. Its water-resistant coating helps protect against spills and dirt, while the quilted fabric is intended to handle everyday wear. For outdoor or travel use, the water resistance offers a layer of protection from weather, but the cover is not described as waterproof.

• Machine wash for cleaning.
• Lay flat to dry after washing.

The 4Knines Quilted Dog Crate Cover suits dog owners who want a wire crate to feel more shaded and private while retaining adjustable access and airflow. It is a practical fit for home routines, travel, and training, with three size choices and machine-washable care. Its water-resistant quilted fabric and roll-up front and side panels bring protection and flexibility to a standard wire-crate setup.
