For training, recall and everyday communication with a dog, a whistle offers a distinct call that can be used near at hand or across a wider space. The Alpha 210.5 is preferred by Spaniels, Cockapoos, Dachshunds and smaller breeds. Its standardized pitch is designed to keep the call recognizable when different people use the whistle.

Is the ACME Alpha 210.5 suited to smaller dogs and distance training?

Yes. ACME identifies the Alpha 210.5 as a preferred choice for Spaniels, Cockapoos, Dachshunds and smaller breeds, with an approximate range of 100 yards (91.4 m). Its patented sound chambers make more efficient use of air to create a brighter sound, supporting commands close by and over distance. ACME developed the whistle over four years in collaboration with World Champion dog trainers.

• Designed for dog training and recall.
• Pealess construction: no ball and no cork.

Can different handlers use the same whistle frequency?

Yes. The Alpha 210.5 maintains a standardized frequency of 5700 Hz, intended to help a dog recognize the call regardless of who is blowing the whistle. ACME suggests choosing different whistle colors for a partner, family member or dog walker while keeping the same frequency.
