ACME Alpha 211.5 Dog Training Whistle, Baby Blue, 110 dBA Long-Range

The ACME Alpha 211.5 is a professional dog training whistle designed to carry a consistent recall cue, with a 110 dBA sound and standardized 5400 Hz frequency.

• Approximately 450–500 yards (411–457 m) of range — supports audible cues over distance.
• Patented sound chambers use air efficiently — produce a brighter sound with less air.
• BPA-free plastic made to food-grade standards — paired with an ergonomic grip for handling in all conditions.
• Made and rigorously tested in the UK — by whistle specialists with more than 150 years of experience.
• Pealess, ball-free design — has no cork or moving ball inside.

For training at a distance, a whistle can provide a clear cue without relying on a spoken call. The Alpha 211.5 is intended for dogs whose handlers need a whistle with extended range, and is preferred for Labradors, Retrievers, Collies, Greyhounds and larger breeds. Its baby blue finish also makes it easy to distinguish from another handler’s whistle.

How far can the ACME Alpha 211.5 carry a training cue?

The ACME Alpha 211.5 reaches approximately 450–500 yards, giving handlers a whistle option for close-to-distance commands. It offers longer range than the ACME 210.5. ACME developed the whistle over four years in collaboration with World Champion dog trainers. The patented sound chambers make efficient use of air to create a brighter sound; ACME says this supports better command and a more responsive dog both nearby and over distance.

• Designed with larger breeds in mind, including Labradors, Retrievers, Collies and Greyhounds.
• The product title specifies a 110 dBA sound output.

Will my dog recognize the whistle if someone else uses it?

The ACME Alpha 211.5 maintains a standardized 5400 Hz frequency so a dog can recognize the same whistle call from different handlers. A partner, family member or dog walker can use a different colour whistle while keeping the cue frequency consistent. This makes colour useful for identifying who owns each whistle without changing the sound frequency the dog learns.

• Baby blue colour for this version.
• Standardized frequency is intended to keep the training cue consistent across handlers.

What are the whistle’s size and construction?

The ACME Alpha 211.5 measures 3 inches (7.8 cm) long, 0.5 inches (1.3 cm) wide and 0.5 inches (1.3 cm) high, and weighs 0.013 lb (6 g). Its BPA-free plastic is made to food-grade standards, and the updated all-over ergonomic grip is designed for softness in the mouth and handling in all conditions. The whistle is weatherproof.

• Pealess construction: no ball and no cork.
• Genuine ACME whistle made and rigorously tested in the UK.

The ACME Alpha 211.5 is suited to handlers training Labradors, Retrievers, Collies, Greyhounds and other larger breeds, especially when they need a consistent whistle cue over distance or among multiple handlers. Its standardized frequency, ergonomic grip and compact 6 g, pealess construction make it a practical training whistle for those uses.
