Pet dander, rather than shed fur alone, can contribute to allergy triggers in the home. Allerpet is made for pet owners who want to reduce dander and related hitchhiking allergens such as pollen without bathing their animals every few days. It is a coat application, not a pet shampoo, and can be worked into a regular grooming routine.

How does Allerpet help reduce pet dander?

Allerpet binds and removes proteins found in dander, saliva, and urine, helping reduce dander in the home. A university study found that weekly use reduced home dander loads by 50%. The formula can also help remove hitchhiking allergens such as pollen.

• Made for coat application on dogs and cats.
• Veterinarians and allergists recommend the formula for reducing dander in the home.

How do you apply Allerpet without bathing your pet?

Apply a generous amount to the mitt or spray it onto the mitt, then rub the solution into your pet’s fur; no rinsing is needed. Do not spray the solution directly onto your pet. Pay particular attention to the hair around the genitals, where urine can collect and dry.

• The mitt lets you work the formula into the coat with a rubbing motion.
• The sprayer offers one-handed application and can help reduce spills and mess.

How often should Allerpet be used, and which pets is it for?

Use Allerpet once a week as a routine; for more severe allergies or animals that produce more dander, use it every 3–4 days. The formula is intended for pets over 10 weeks old, including senior pets.

• Contains green tea, chamomile, rosemary, and vitamin-rich ingredients.
• Fragrance-free and non-oily, with no preservatives or harsh chemicals.

The solution is intended to leave skin and fur feeling soft and conditioned while helping reduce dander, so it suits dog and cat owners seeking a no-rinse addition to grooming. The formula is made in the USA, and the kit includes a 12 oz bottle, application mitt, and sprayer. It is a coat-care solution rather than a shampoo, and it is made for pets over 10 weeks of age.
