Amazon Basics 3-Step Dog Stairs, Grey, 14.4-Inch Foam Steps with Non-Slip Base

Amazon Basics Dog Steps are 14.4 in (36.6 cm)-high, three-step pet stairs designed to help puppies, kittens, and older pets with limited mobility reach elevated surfaces.

• High-density foam with an MDF support board inside — adds stability for climbing.
• Anti-slip bottom — helps keep the stairs from moving as pets climb up or down.
• Foldable design — converts into a basic bed for your pet.
• Removable cover — can be washed by hand or in a washing machine.
• Portable stairs for small and medium dogs — fit against furniture edges.

Getting onto a bed, sofa, chair, or other raised spot can be difficult for pets with limited mobility. These steps provide a way to climb up and down, and their foldable design also gives the stairs a second use as a basic pet bed. The grey stairs are made for indoor use with dogs and cats, including puppies and kittens.

What can pets use these steps to reach?

The three-step layout is designed to help pets climb onto beds, sofas, chairs, balconies, and other elevated surfaces. At 14.4 in (36.6 cm) high, the stairs offer an access route for puppies, kittens, and older pets with limited mobility. Position them against the edge of the furniture or surface your pet needs to reach.

• Suitable for use beside a bed or sofa.
• Also designed for access to chairs and other elevated surfaces.

What helps keep the pet stairs steady?

High-density foam and an MDF support board inside provide the stair structure, while the anti-slip bottom helps prevent movement when a pet climbs up or down. The stairs are portable and sized for small and medium dogs. When you want to use them as a resting spot instead, fold them into a basic dog bed.

• Place the stairs against the edge of the furniture your pet is climbing onto.
• The folded form can be used as a simple place for your pet to sleep.

How do you clean and prepare the stairs?

The cover is removable and washable by hand or in a washing machine. The foam inside is not washable, so remove the cover for cleaning rather than washing the foam. After taking the foam out of its compression bag, allow 24–48 hours for it to expand fully before use.

• Allow the foam to finish expanding before your pet uses the stairs.
• Keep the inner foam out of hand and machine washing.

Amazon Basics Dog Steps are suited to households whose puppies, kittens, or older pets need help getting onto elevated surfaces, and to small or medium dogs that benefit from a portable stair. They combine a three-step climbing route with a foldable design that becomes a basic pet bed.
