Amazon Basics Heavy Duty Dog and Puppy Pee Pads are made for potty training and other indoor or on-the-go needs, with a five-layer absorbent design and a regular 24 x 23-inch (61 x 58.4 cm) size.

• FSC-certified materials (FSC N004130) — sourced from well-managed forests, recycled materials, and/or other controlled wood sources.
• 50 regular-size, heavy-duty-absorbency pads — a ready supply for training and everyday dog care.
• Five-layer construction, quick-dry surface and gel-forming core — absorbs liquid and helps keep the surface dry.
• Plastic lining and a border on all four sides — helps protect floors and contain overflow.
• Built-in attractant — helps aid potty training.
• 24 x 23 inches overall (61 x 58.4 cm), with a 21.5 x 20.7-inch center pad (54.6 x 52.6 cm) — provides the exact dimensions for choosing a placement area.

These pads are designed for situations where a dog needs a designated spot to relieve itself, including puppy potty training, senior dog care and car trips. The layered construction addresses two practical concerns at once: absorbing liquid and helping contain it before it reaches the floor. The blue-and-white pads offer a defined surface for routine use at home or while travelling.

How do the pads absorb liquid and help contain leaks?

Each Amazon Basics dog and puppy pad uses five layers, including a quick-dry surface and an absorbent core that turns liquid into gel on contact. A plastic lining helps protect the floor underneath, while the raised plastic border runs along all four sides to help prevent overflow.

• The design combines surface drying, absorption and liquid containment.
• The all-around border is intended to help keep liquid from spreading beyond the pad.

What size are the regular pads?

Amazon Basics regular pads measure 24 x 23 inches overall (61 x 58.4 cm), and the center pad measures 21.5 x 20.7 inches (54.6 x 52.6 cm). The border widths are 1.2 and 1.1 inches (3.05 and 2.79 cm). Compare the overall footprint with the space where you plan to place a pad.
