How much kibble does the container hold?

Amazon Basics Pet Food Storage Container holds up to 50 pounds of dry kibble and has a 55-quart capacity. It is intended for dry dog or cat food, giving buyers two useful capacity details to compare with the amount of kibble they typically store. The stated capacity is for kibble; it does not specify a capacity for other kinds of pet food.

• Up to 50 pounds of dry kibble.
• 55-quart container capacity.
• Suitable for dog or cat food.

How does the lid help protect stored food?

The container is made from BPA-free plastic and uses lid-seal technology to help keep dry pet food fresh and secured. The lid provides the closure for the stored kibble, while the container keeps the food in a dedicated storage bin. These features are designed for storing dry food rather than serving as a general-purpose container.

• BPA-free plastic construction.
• Lid-seal technology.
• Designed to store dry kibble.

Can the bin be moved, and where does the scoop go?

Four wheels let the container roll, and the wheel set includes two wheels with brakes and two without brakes. The wheels are stored in the scoop, and the detachable scoop has its own storage slot on the container. This arrangement keeps the serving accessory together with the bin when it is not in use.

• Four wheels for rolling mobility.
• Two wheels have brakes; two do not.
• Detachable scoop and dedicated storage slot.

This container suits pet owners who store dry dog or cat kibble and want a wheeled bin with an included scoop. Its capacity is for dry kibble, and its four-wheel base, sealing lid, and attached scoop storage make those features part of one food-storage setup.
