These X-Large pads are designed for situations where dogs need an absorbent potty area, including training at home, care for senior dogs and car travel. Their larger overall format provides a defined pad surface for those routines, while the layered construction is designed to manage liquid within the pad. The 50-count pack provides multiple pads for ongoing use.

How do the pads manage liquid?

Each Amazon Basics puppy potty pad has five layers, including a quick-dry surface and an absorbent core that turns liquid into gel on contact. A plastic lining helps keep liquid from reaching floors, and the plastic border around all four sides is designed to help prevent overflow. Together, these features provide layered liquid containment for training and other dog-care use.

• The quick-dry surface is part of the multi-layer design.
• The border runs along every side of the pad.

What size are the pads, and how much of the surface is usable?

Each Amazon Basics X-Large pad measures 28 x 34 inches (71.1 x 86.4 cm) overall. The center pad measures 23.6 x 29.5 inches (59.9 x 74.9 cm), with a 2.2-inch (5.6 cm) border width. Compare the overall dimensions with the space available where you plan to use a pad.

• Pack quantity: 50 X-Large pads.
• The center-pad dimensions distinguish the absorbent middle from the full pad footprint.
