Animal Essentials Comfort Plus is a calming liquid for dogs and cats that may help with discomfort associated with normal daily activity; each bottle contains 2 fl oz (59 mL).

• Made in the USA with certified organic herbs — a botanical formula with a stated origin and herb certification.
• Uses two botanicals — California Poppy and Skullcap are the only botanicals in the formula.
• Animal Essentials is a certified member of the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) — a relevant organizational credential for pet supplement shoppers.
• Developed in response to holistic veterinarians — the formula drew on their use of glycerin-based extracts of these herbs in practice.

Comfort Plus is for pet owners looking for a botanical liquid intended to support comfort around ordinary, day-to-day activity. Its purpose is specific: it may help with discomfort associated with normal activity. The formula is made for both dogs and cats, and its two-herb approach gives shoppers a clear view of the botanicals behind the product.

What is Comfort Plus intended to support?

Animal Essentials Comfort Plus may help with discomfort associated with normal daily activity in dogs and cats. The herbs are regarded by herbalists as agents for promoting comfort and a relaxed state of being. This is a supportive purpose, not a promise of a particular result.

• Intended for dogs and cats.
• Made for discomfort associated with normal, daily activity.

Which herbs are in the formula?

Animal Essentials Comfort Plus uses California Poppy (Eschscholizia californica) and Skullcap (Scutellaria laterifolia) as its only botanicals. Both herbs have long histories of use in animals and humans, including small children. That background and the herbalists’ traditional view of these plants explain the formula’s focus on comfort and relaxation.

• California Poppy is one of the two botanicals.
• Skullcap is the other botanical.
• The herbs are certified organic.

How was Comfort Plus developed?

Animal Essentials Comfort Plus was created in response to requests from holistic veterinarians who had used glycerin-based extracts of California Poppy and Skullcap in their practices for several years. The product is made in the USA, and Animal Essentials is a certified member of NASC.

• Veterinary practitioner requests informed its development.
• The source herbs were used in glycerin-based extracts in those practices.
• The brand holds certified NASC membership.

Comfort Plus is suited to dog and cat owners seeking a liquid botanical product for support around normal daily activity, with a formula centered on two named herbs. Its intended use, animal audience, ingredient focus, and 2 fl oz bottle size make its role easy to identify.
