ANWA Soft Cat Recovery Collar, Size S for Post-Surgery Wound Protection

ANWA’s soft adjustable cat cone collar is designed to help protect upper-body wounds from licking and scratching, with a stretchy-string inner fit and Size S for cats with 5–8 in (12.7–20.32 cm) necks.

• Soft fabric and fiber — gives cats a softer-feeling alternative to a standard plastic cone.
• Lightweight design with an open field of sight — lets cats see, eat, drink and play while wearing it.
• Adjustable stretchy string — helps create a closer fit and makes the collar harder for a cat to slip out of.
• Soft donut shape — also works as a cushion when your cat lies down.
• Available in two sizes — Size S is recommended for cats under 7 lb (3.18 kg).

After surgery or when an upper-body wound needs protection, a recovery collar can help limit a cat’s access to the affected area. ANWA’s fabric cone is made for cats that need that barrier while still being able to see around them and manage everyday activities such as eating and drinking. Its soft, rounded shape also gives the collar a cushion-like use at rest.

Which wounds is the ANWA cat cone collar designed to protect?

It is designed to help prevent licking and scratching around upper-body wounds. The collar surrounds the cat’s head and neck area, placing a soft barrier between the mouth and wounds in that region. It may be less useful for lower-body wounds, including injuries on the front or back paws, so consider where your cat needs protection when choosing it.

• Intended for upper-body wound protection.
• Not as useful for wounds on the paws.

How do I choose the right size?

ANWA offers two sizes, and Size S measures 7.5 × 7.5 × 1.8 in (19.05 × 19.05 × 4.572 cm). Size S is suitable for cats with a neck circumference of 5–8 in (12.7–20.32 cm), with cats under 7 lb (3.18 kg) recommended. Adjust the stretchy inner string for a closer fit; it helps keep the collar from slipping off easily. Compare your cat’s neck measurement with the Size S range before choosing this size.

• Size S: 7.5 × 7.5 × 1.8 in (19.05 × 19.05 × 4.572 cm).
• Recommended for cats under 7 lb (3.18 kg).

Can cats see, eat and drink while wearing it?

The collar is lightweight and does not block the cat’s sight, so cats can see, eat, drink and play while wearing it. The open view and soft construction are intended to make everyday wear easier to adapt to than a normal plastic cone. Your cat can keep these activities going while the collar provides its protective barrier.

• Designed to leave sight unobstructed.
• Allows eating, drinking and play while worn.

How does the soft donut collar feel and function?

ANWA uses fiber and soft fabric for a velvety-feeling surface, rather than the hard plastic construction of a conventional cone. The rounded collar can also serve as a soft pillow when your cat is lying down. Its cute, orange-like appearance adds a decorative look alongside its recovery-collar function.

• Soft fabric and fiber construction.
• Can cushion your cat’s head while resting.

This collar is most suited to cats that need a soft, adjustable barrier for an upper-body wound while retaining an open view for eating, drinking and play. For paw wounds, its protection may be limited; Size S is intended for the stated neck range and recommended weight. Its fabric donut shape combines recovery use with a soft resting cushion.
