What size pet fits in the Apollo Walker Cat Backpack Carrier?

The carrier suits cats up to 20 lbs (9 kg) or dogs up to 18 lbs (8 kg), subject to the pet’s body size. The backpack measures 16.8 × 12.6 × 11.4 inches (42 × 32 × 28 cm), and the maximum pet dimensions it can accommodate are 16.1 × 12.2 × 10.2 inches (41 × 31 × 27 cm). Measure your pet and compare its dimensions with that maximum before choosing. For pets weighing 12–16 lbs (5.5–7 kg), the interior offers room to sit, turn around and settle.

• Compare both weight and body dimensions when assessing fit.
• The 12–16 lb range is specifically noted for sitting, turning and settling inside.

How does the carrier support a pet during travel?

A reinforced steel-wire frame helps the backpack retain its shape, while a 3-layer honeycomb base pad and thickened foam base help resist collapse. Together, these components create a stable interior to support your pet while being carried. The base pad is detachable and washable, so it can be removed for cleaning.

• The structure combines a steel-wire frame with a honeycomb board and foam base.
• Remove the pad when it needs washing.

How does the backpack keep a pet comfortable and contained?

Multi-sided nylon mesh allows airflow and gives pets visibility from inside the carrier. An interior leash tether attaches to your pet’s collar and helps prevent unexpected jumps when you open the bag in busy public spaces. For the wearer, breathable mesh back padding, cushioned shoulder straps, and adjustable sternum and waist buckles are designed to distribute the load and follow the contours of your back.

• Adjust the sternum and waist buckles for a closer carrying fit.
• Attach the interior tether to your pet’s collar before opening the carrier.

How does the carrier store between outings?

The backpack folds completely flat in seconds after a trip, making it easier to put away in a closet or car trunk. Large-capacity side pockets provide space for treats, water and other outing essentials, keeping them within reach while you travel.

• Fold the carrier flat when it is not in use.
• Use the side pockets for treats, water and essentials.

The Apollo Walker Cat Backpack Carrier suits cat and small-dog owners who want a hands-free carrier for outdoor adventures, road trips and daily outings, with fit chosen by both pet weight and body dimensions. Its steel-wire frame, supportive base, breathable mesh and fold-flat design bring travel support and compact storage together in one backpack.
