ARTERO #7F A5 Dog Clipper Blade, 1/8 in (3.2 mm), Smoother Finish

Artero #7F is a detachable A5 dog clipper blade for short, easy-care summer body trims, leaving about 1/8 in (3.2 mm) of coat with a smoother finish.

• Leaves about 1/8 in (3.2 mm) of coat — suits short summer body trims.
• Closer-spaced finish teeth than a #7 blade at the same height — helps create a smoother finish with fewer passes.
• Fits A5-style clippers from Artero, Andis, Oster, Moser, Heiniger and Aesculap Fav5 and Fav5 CL — works with a range of compatible clipper brands.
• High-carbon steel with cryogenic tempering and a chrome coating — made for a blade with rust protection.
• Hand-sharpened and rated 62 Rockwell hardness — combines careful sharpening with a stated hardness rating.

For a dog’s body trim, the cut length helps leave a short coat that is easier to care for in summer. The blade is made for use with compatible A5-style clippers, and its finish-tooth design distinguishes it from a standard #7 blade of the same cutting height. Coat preparation matters: this blade is not intended to cut through pelted coat, so bathe and brush the coat out before clipping.

What kind of trim does the Artero #7F blade leave?

The Artero #7F leaves about 1/8 in (3.2 mm) of coat, a short length suited to easy-care summer body trims. Its finish teeth sit closer together than those on a #7 blade at the same height, helping produce a smoother finish with fewer passes. The #7F designation identifies the blade choice for this shorter body-trim length and finish.

• Use case: short body trims.
• Finish: closer-spaced teeth than a #7 blade at the same height.
