Aumuca Undercoat Rake for Dogs and Cats, 2.2-Inch Head with Rounded Teeth

Aumuca Undercoat Rake is a pet grooming comb for lifting loose undercoat and working through mats, with a single row of rounded teeth and a 2.2-inch head.

• One row of rounded teeth reaches through the topcoat — lifts loose undercoat in one pass.
• Designed for thick double coats — works through shedding fur without digging into the skin.
• Rounded tooth tips — made to stay comfortable on sensitive skin.
• Snap-on blade cover — covers the stainless metal edge between uses.
• 1.5 ounces with a 2.2-inch head — a lightweight grooming tool for dogs, cats, rabbits and horses.

Loose undercoat and tangled fur can be challenging to manage, particularly on double-coated pets and in areas where mats form. Aumuca’s rake is made for grooming dogs and cats with short or long hair, as well as rabbits and horses. It combines undercoat removal and dematting in one tool for routine grooming and for working carefully through tangles.

How does the Aumuca Undercoat Rake remove loose fur?

The single row of teeth passes beyond the topcoat to lift loose undercoat. This makes the rake suited to double-coated dogs that shed throughout the year, including German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Huskies, Pomeranians, Corgis and Shih Tzus. Its teeth are designed to work through a thick coat without digging into the skin.

• Made for dogs with double coats and heavy shedding.
• One row means fewer teeth drag across the coat at once than with a double-sided rake.

Can it help with mats and tangles?

Yes. The Aumuca Undercoat Rake is also a dematting comb for dog and cat coats. Work slowly through mats and tangles to help break them apart rather than pull through them; common problem areas include behind the ears, the chest and the legs. Its rounded tips are intended to be comfortable on sensitive skin while grooming.

• For long-haired dog and cat coats as well as undercoat grooming.
• Useful around the ears, chest and legs where mats may occur.

Which pets and coat types is the rake for?

The Aumuca Undercoat Rake is made for short- and long-haired cats and small- to medium-sized dogs, and can also be used on rabbits and horses. The 2.2-inch head provides a compact grooming surface, while the tool’s 1.5-ounce weight makes it light to move between pets. Its white finish identifies the rake; the working edge is stainless metal.

• Suitable for grooming dogs, cats, rabbits and horses.
• A snap-on cover fits over the metal edge between grooming sessions.

This rake is a fit for pet owners managing loose undercoat, shedding and mats across different animals in the household. It brings a single-row undercoat rake and dematting comb together, with rounded tips and a cover for the stainless metal edge.
