Azoo Aquarium Bacteria Treatment for Freshwater & Saltwater Tanks, 8.45 oz BIO XD

Azoo AZOOPLUS BIO XD is an aquarium bacteria treatment for freshwater and saltwater tanks, formulated to break down pollutants with active nitrifying bacteria that work immediately after addition.

• For freshwater and saltwater aquariums — supports water-quality care in both tank types.
• Breaks down feed residues, excrement, impurities, and sludge — targets common sources of aquarium water pollution.
• Active bacteria begin working after addition with no activation required — makes the treatment ready to work when added.
• Breaks down most pollutants in about 8 hours — supports clearer water for longer.
• Designed to remove toxic substances within 48 hours — targets nitrites, ammonia, and hydrogen sulfide.

Water can become cloudy as aquarium waste and leftover feed accumulate. BIO XD is made for fish keepers who want to address these pollutants and help maintain water clarity in either freshwater or saltwater aquariums. Its nitrifying bacteria act on the waste and harmful substances in the water, while the product is also designed to reduce how often tank cleaning is needed.

What does BIO XD do in an aquarium?

Azoo BIO XD uses nitrifying bacteria to break down aquarium pollutants and support restored water quality. The bacteria target impurities, leftover feed, fish excrement, and sludge, as well as the toxic substances nitrites, ammonia, and hydrogen sulfide. The product’s stated performance is complete removal of toxic substances within 48 hours; results depend on following the application guidance.

• For water-quality support in freshwater and saltwater fish tanks.
• Targets both visible waste and toxic substances in aquarium water.

How quickly does the bacteria start working?

The bacteria are active and begin decomposing pollutants immediately after addition, so no activation step is required. Most of the targeted pollutants are broken down in about 8 hours, helping maintain clear water for longer and significantly reducing cleaning frequency. The product also gives a 48-hour timeframe for complete removal of toxic substances.

• No activation required before use.
• Use the application chart and instructions to guide treatment.
