• Adjustable strap, heavy-duty buckle clip and sturdy D-rings — provide adjustable fastening and leash attachment points.

• Family-owned and operated since 2010 — from a business serving pet owners and their pets.

A harness can be a useful choice for walks when you want leash pressure carried across the chest rather than concentrated at the neck. This Bark Appeal style combines a step-in vest shape with adjustable fastening and is offered in M for small to medium-sized pets. Because the fit depends on your individual pet, taking measurements is an essential part of choosing this harness.

How does the anti-choke harness work?

The harness distributes pulling pressure across the chest to reduce strain on your dog’s or cat’s neck. Bark Appeal describes it as vet recommended for a safe, secure and comfortable walk. Its chest-based pressure distribution is the key design feature for people looking for an alternative to attaching a leash at the neck.

• Designed to carry pulling pressure across the chest.
• Made for walking dogs or cats.

How do I choose the right fit?

Measure your pet before choosing the M size; weight alone does not give an accurate fit. Bark Appeal’s sizing may change, and a pet’s size can change too, so re-measure even if you have ordered from the brand before. Use the brand’s sizing and measuring guide when taking your pet’s measurements, rather than relying on a previous purchase or weight by itself.

• Re-measuring is important for returning customers as well as first-time buyers.
• The harness is identified as M and intended for small to medium-sized pets.

What is the harness made with, and how does it fasten?

The harness is made from soft, breathable mesh and has an adjustable strap, a heavy-duty buckle clip and sturdy D-rings. Step-in styling forms the vest-style design, while the adjustable strap lets you adjust the harness around your pet. The buckle clip secures it, and the D-rings provide the leash attachment points.

• Soft, breathable mesh vest construction.
• Adjustable strap with buckle clip and D-rings.

This harness best suits pet owners seeking a step-in walking harness with chest-based pressure distribution and adjustable fastening for a small to medium-sized pet. Careful measuring matters, since the M label and your pet’s weight alone cannot establish an accurate fit. Its mesh vest design, adjustable strap and leash-ready D-rings bring the main walking features together in one harness.
