Description
xBark Appeal’s black plaid step-in dog harness is an adjustable vest designed to spread pulling pressure across the chest and reduce strain on the neck.
- X-Large to 2X-Large sizing — use the sizing guide to choose the fit.
- Soft, breathable mesh — forms the vest portion of the harness.
- Adjustable strap, heavy-duty buckle clip and sturdy D-rings — provide adjustable fastening and leash attachment points.
- Vet-recommended design — distributes pulling pressure across the chest.
- Family-owned and operated since 2010 — made by a company serving pet owners and their pets.
This step-in harness is made for walks with dogs, with a vest-style fit and components designed to help keep the harness in place. Choosing the right size starts with measuring your pet: weight alone does not give an accurate fit, and the sizing has been updated. Even if you have bought this harness before, take fresh measurements before ordering.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure your dog carefully and use the sizing guide for this X-Large to 2X-Large harness. A dog’s size can change over time, and the sizing may differ from a previous order, so past fit is not a substitute for measuring again.
- Measure before purchasing, including for a returning order.
- Use measurements rather than weight alone to guide your choice.
What is the harness made with, and how does it fasten?
The harness combines a soft, breathable mesh vest with an adjustable strap, a heavy-duty buckle clip and sturdy D-rings. Its step-in style and adjustable strap let you secure the harness around your pet, while the buckle clip fastens it and the D-rings provide leash attachment points.
- Black plaid pattern.
- Vest-style harness with a buckle clip and D-rings.
How does the harness help reduce neck strain?
When a pet pulls, the harness distributes pressure across the chest instead of concentrating it on the neck. This is the anti-choke design’s intended benefit for dogs and cats, and the harness is vet recommended for walks.
- Designed to distribute pulling pressure across the chest.
- Made for use as a walking harness.
This harness suits owners looking for an adjustable, step-in vest for an X-Large to 2X-Large pet, particularly when they want a design that shifts pulling pressure to the chest. Bark Appeal has operated as a family-owned business since 2010, and this harness pairs its mesh vest with adjustable fastening and leash attachment points.
