Choosing a harness is about more than picking a size by weight: a well-considered fit and a design that places pulling pressure across the chest can matter during walks. This tan plaid step-in style is intended for small to medium-sized pets and is made from soft, breathable mesh. Measure your pet carefully before choosing size M, particularly if you have bought from Bark Appeal before.

How do I choose the right size?

Use the Bark Appeal sizing and measuring guide before purchasing; weight alone is not an accurate way to determine fit. Re-measuring is important even for returning customers because the sizing may have changed since a previous order, and a pet’s size can change too. The product is size M and is intended for small to medium-sized pets.

• Compare your pet’s measurements with the sizing guide rather than relying on weight.
• Measure again when ordering a replacement or another harness.

How is the harness designed to reduce neck strain?

The harness distributes pulling pressure across the chest, reducing strain on the neck. This anti-choke design is intended for walking pets that may pull on the leash, and the harness is vet recommended for safe, secure and comfortable walks.

• Step-in harness style for dogs or cats.
• Soft, breathable mesh for the vest portion.

What helps keep the harness fastened?

An adjustable strap, a heavy-duty buckle clip and sturdy D-rings are built into the harness to help keep it secure. The strap can be adjusted for fit, while the buckle clip and D-rings form the harness’s fastening and leash-attachment points.

• Tan plaid appearance.
• Size M designation for small to medium-sized pets.

This harness suits pet owners looking for a step-in walking harness with an adjustable strap and a chest-based pressure-distribution design. Bark Appeal’s family-owned business has served pet owners since 2010. It is intended for small to medium-sized pets, with careful measuring as the essential step in choosing a comfortable fit.
