A harness needs to fit your pet rather than simply match a weight estimate. This XXS design is made for extra-small pets and offers an alternative to attaching walking pressure at the neck: pulling pressure is distributed across the chest. Its green plaid pattern and soft mesh combine the vest-style design with the adjustable components used to secure it for a walk.

What does the XXS step-in harness provide for walks?

The Bark Appeal XXS harness combines a soft, breathable mesh vest with adjustable fastening components for walking a small pet. Its step-in style is paired with a strong adjustable strap, a heavy-duty buckle clip and sturdy D-rings. The harness is designed to keep a dog secure while helping reduce neck strain by spreading pulling pressure across the chest; the same pressure-distribution feature is described for dogs or cats.

• Green plaid design in an XXS dog harness.
• Soft mesh fabric with breathable construction.
• Adjustable strap and sturdy D-rings as part of the secure fit.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure your pet using the sizing and measuring guide before choosing this Bark Appeal dog harness; weight alone does not give an accurate fit. Sizing has been updated, so measure again even if you have purchased from Bark Appeal before. Your pet’s size may have changed, and the harness sizing may also differ from an earlier order.

• Use measurements rather than weight alone to guide your selection.
• Re-measure returning customers’ pets because sizing may have changed.

Good to know: The product is offered in XXS, and an accurate fit depends on measuring your pet before purchase.

How does the harness help reduce neck strain?

The Bark Appeal harness distributes pulling pressure across the chest instead of concentrating it at the neck. This is the design feature behind its anti-choke purpose, and the harness is vet recommended for a safe, secure and comfortable walk.

• Chest-based pressure distribution helps reduce strain on the neck.
• Security comes from the adjustable strap, buckle clip and D-rings.
