For owners choosing a harness for an extra-small pet, fit and comfort are central to everyday walks. This XXS option is designed for dogs and cats and is suited to warm-weather outings as well as regular walks. Take measurements before choosing a size: weight alone does not give an accurate fit, and a previous purchase is not a reliable substitute for measuring again.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure your pet carefully and use the sizing guide, since weight alone cannot determine an accurate fit. Bark Appeal’s sizing has been updated, so even returning customers should remeasure; a pet’s size may also have changed since a previous order. The XXS label identifies this version, but the measurement process is what helps you assess whether it suits your pet.

• Earlier sizing may differ from the current sizing.
• A pet can change size over time.

How does the harness help reduce neck strain?

The harness distributes pulling pressure across the chest rather than concentrating it at the neck. This anti-choke design is intended to help reduce neck strain during walks. Bark Appeal’s harness is vet-recommended for a safe, secure and comfortable walking setup.

• Designed for walking with dogs or cats.
• The chest is the area used to distribute pulling pressure.

What is the harness made of, and how does it fasten?

It is made from soft, breathable netting and uses an adjustable strap. The step-in format is designed to be put on by having your pet step into the harness, while the buckle clip fastens it and the D-rings provide leash attachment points. The mesh construction is intended for breathable wear, including during hot summer days.

• Color: teal.
• Fastening and leash connection are built into the harness design.

This harness is suited to pet owners looking for an XXS walking option for an extra-small dog or cat, especially when breathable mesh and chest-distributed pulling pressure are priorities. Bark Appeal’s family-owned business has served pets and their owners since 2010.
