Bark Begone Classic Ultrasonic Dog Bark Deterrent and Handheld Behaviour Trainer

Bark Begone Classic is a handheld ultrasonic dog bark deterrent and behavior-correction trainer designed to help address unwanted barking and behaviors such as jumping, using a point-and-press format.

• Handheld ultrasonic trainer — gives you a device-based cue for dog training.
• Designed for unwanted barking, jumping, and aggression — supports efforts to correct these behaviors without yelling.
• Conditioned Emotional Response (CER) training approach — pairs the device sound with a familiar verbal command and a reward.
• Progressive cue timing — gradually increases the pause before the verbal command so your dog can learn to respond to the device cue.
• Backed by Kevin Harrington from Shark Tank — a brand-reported backing associated with Bark Begone Classic.

When barking or other unwanted behavior interrupts everyday routines, a consistent training cue can help make practice more structured. Bark Begone Classic is made for hands-on training at home or during other dog-training situations. The device is presented as the original no-bark device and pet corrector in dog training and behavior aids; its training method centers on pairing its sound with a command the dog already knows.

What behaviors is Bark Begone Classic designed to address?

Bark Begone Classic is designed to help control unnecessary barking and support training for behaviors such as jumping and aggression. The device is intended to work as a training aid, rather than as a substitute for teaching a dog the desired response. Its CER method uses an established command, a consistent cue, and praise or a treat when the dog follows the command.

• Use it as part of behavior training for dogs.
• Pair the cue with a command your dog already follows consistently.
• Reward the response with praise, petting, or a small treat.

How does the CER training approach work?

The CER routine associates the Bark Begone sound with a known verbal command and a positive reward. Start by giving the device cue, then say the command; when your dog follows it, praise, pet, or reward them with a treat. Repeat the sequence while gradually allowing more time between the device sound and the verbal command. With practice, the dog may begin following the command after hearing the trainer and before you give the verbal cue.

• Begin with a command your dog knows well.
• Use small treats your dog enjoys, alongside praise or petting.
• Increase the interval between the device cue and spoken command gradually.

How do I use Bark Begone Classic during training?

Point and press the handheld trainer as part of the CER sequence, then give the familiar verbal command and reward the correct response. Keep the order consistent as you practice, changing only the wait before the spoken command. This gives your dog repeated opportunities to connect the device sound with the command and the reward.

• Choose a familiar command before beginning a session.
• Give praise, petting, or a treat when your dog responds correctly.
• After the dog responds to the device cue, the routine can be used with other commands, including bark training.

Bark Begone Classic is suited to dog owners who want a handheld cue to include in reward-based command practice for barking and other unwanted behaviors. It is a training aid built around repetition and a familiar command, not a replacement for the command-and-reward routine. Its point-and-press format and CER method give owners a defined sequence for practice.
