BarkBox Captain Parrot 2-in-1 Dog Chew Toy for Large Dogs, Rubber Treat Base

BarkBox Captain Parrot Super Chewer is a 2-in-1 chew toy for dogs who play hard, combining a fabric outer layer with a natural rubber base for chewing and treat play.

• Made for determined chewers — offers a chew-and-shred challenge.
• For dogs weighing 50–80 lb (23–36 kg) — sized for the weight range the toy is designed to suit.
• Textured natural rubber — gives dogs another surface to chew.
• Grooves for spreadable treats — add a food-reward element to play.
• Rip-and-reveal fabric — engages dogs who enjoy shredding plush or fabric toys.

Captain Parrot is made for dogs who need more than a simple chew: its fabric layer invites ripping, while the rubber base offers a separate chew and treat activity. It suits supervised play sessions built around chewing, shredding and food rewards, especially for dogs in the stated weight range.

How does Captain Parrot combine plush and rubber play?

It pairs a fabric exterior with a strong natural rubber base, giving dogs two different parts to explore. The outer layer is designed for dogs who like to rip and shred fabric toys. If a dog gets through that exterior, the base can continue the play as a chew challenge.

• The textured design adds a tactile element to chewing.
• The base can hold snacks for a treat-focused activity.

How can I use Captain Parrot for treat play?

Spreadable treats fit into the grooves, and snacks can be placed in the dispensing base. The treat features turn chewing into a reward-based challenge; the base is designed to teeter as a dog works at it.

• Use the grooves with spreadable treats.
• Add snacks to the base for teetering, treat-dispensing play.

Which dogs is Captain Parrot designed for?

• BarkBox’s stated mission is to make dogs happy, and the brand is co-owned by dogs.
