Loose litter around a box can spread across the floor as cats step out. Bartuke’s mat gives the litter area a defined surface to collect litter and makes it easier to return what it catches to the box. Its broad format is suited to litter boxes of various sizes and can provide coverage for multi-cat households.

How much area does the mat cover?

The mat measures 34 × 22 in (86.4 × 56 cm), providing a broad surface around the litter box. Compare these dimensions with the available floor space where you plan to place it. The stated size is intended to work with litter boxes of various sizes, while offering extra coverage that can be useful in a home with multiple cats.

• Large rectangular coverage for the litter area.
• Suitable for use with litter boxes of various sizes.
• Khaki color.

How does the surface help manage tracked litter?

A specially textured surface catches litter brought out of the box on your cat’s paws, helping keep it from scattering across the floor. The mat is made from silicone with a soft texture intended to be comfortable for paws. Its design also helps prevent water seepage, adding a barrier between the litter area and the floor.

• Use it by the litter box to collect tracked litter.
• Silicone construction resists deformation and damage.
• The surface helps protect the floor from water seepage.

How do you clean the mat, and can it be used elsewhere?

Pour the collected litter back into the litter box or sweep it off with a broom, then gently shake the mat or rinse it with water to remove remaining litter. For another use, place it beneath your cat’s food and water bowls to catch spills and debris. These two uses make the mat practical both around the litter station and at a feeding area.

• Return captured litter to the box or sweep it away.
• Shake or rinse with water to clear remaining litter.
• Use beneath food and water bowls to catch spills and debris.

Bartuke’s silicone mat is best suited to cat owners who want a defined, easy-to-clean area around a litter box, including households with more than one cat. It also serves feeding areas where spills and debris need catching. Its 34 × 22 in (86.4 × 56 cm) surface combines litter collection with a second use under bowls.
