Baskerville Basket Dog Muzzle, Size 6 Classic TPR with Adjustable Fit

The Baskerville Classic Basket Muzzle, Size 6, is a basket-style dog muzzle designed to help prevent biting and scavenging, with an additional guard insert for walks.

• Enhanced thermoplastic rubber (TPR) is lighter than classic plastic and 4x stronger — for a lightweight muzzle with increased durability.
• Basket design lets dogs pant, drink and play — supporting everyday wear when the muzzle fits correctly.
• Adjustable neck strap with a clip and a padded nose piece — for a secure, adjustable fit.
• Can be reshaped in hot water — to create a custom fit.
• Suitable for walks, vet and grooming visits, travel on public transport and meeting new people — useful across a range of situations.

Dogs may need a muzzle on walks to limit scavenging, or in situations that can feel stressful, such as a vet visit or meeting unfamiliar people. The Baskerville Classic Basket Muzzle is made for these everyday needs, with a design that supports panting and drinking while the dog wears it. Correct fit is important, especially for longer periods of wear.

What can the guard insert help prevent?

The additional guard insert is designed to help prevent dogs from scavenging food or wildlife, eating rocks, engaging in coprophagia, or licking wounds after surgery. It gives the muzzle a specific role on walks and during recovery-related situations where restricting access with the mouth is needed.

• Insert helps restrict access to food and wildlife while walking.
• Designed for situations involving rock eating, coprophagia or wound licking.

Can a dog pant and drink while wearing this basket muzzle?

Yes. The Baskerville Classic Basket Muzzle’s basket construction allows dogs to pant and drink, and also allows them to play. It is suitable for daily walks and longer periods of wear when correctly fitted, including situations where a dog may need to remain muzzled for a while.

• Suitable for daily use and longer wear with the correct fit.
• Designed to support panting when a dog is hot or stressed.

How does the muzzle fit and support training?

The TPR material can be reshaped in hot water to form a custom fit. An adjustable neck strap secures with a clip, and the nose piece is padded. For reward-based training with a dog that reacts around other dogs or new people, remove the guard insert to allow a more positive training experience.

• Use treat rewards during training around other dogs or unfamiliar people.
• The guard insert can be removed for this training approach.

This Size 6 muzzle suits dog owners looking for a basket design for walks, scavenging prevention, training or situations such as vet and grooming visits. Its TPR construction, adjustable neck strap and removable guard insert make it suited to use where a correctly fitted muzzle needs to support panting and drinking while helping limit unwanted access with the mouth.
