Baskerville Classic Basket Dog Muzzle, Size 5 – Mouldable TPR with Scavenging Guard

Baskerville Classic Basket Dog Muzzle in Size 5 is a reshaped-to-fit TPR basket muzzle designed to help prevent bites while allowing dogs to pant, drink and play.

• TPR is lighter than classic plastic and 4x stronger — gives the basket a lighter material with increased durability.
• Can be reshaped in hot water — helps create a custom fit for your dog.
• Basket design allows panting, drinking and play — supports everyday wear when correctly fitted.
• Additional guard insert — helps prevent food and wildlife scavenging, eating rocks, coprophagia and wound licking after surgery.
• Padded nose piece and adjustable neck strap with clip — provide nose padding and a secure, adjustable attachment.

A basket muzzle can be useful for everyday walks and for situations that may be stressful or unfamiliar for a dog. This Baskerville design is intended for daily use and longer periods of wear when it fits correctly, as well as trips to the vet or groomer, public transport and meetings with new people. Its design combines a guard insert for scavenging prevention with a basket that leaves room for normal panting and drinking.

What can the Baskerville Classic Basket Dog Muzzle be used for?

It is made for walks, stressful situations and helping manage reactive behaviour around other dogs or new people. The muzzle is also suitable for visits to vets and groomers, travel on public transport and other unfamiliar situations. Its bite-prevention design makes it useful when a dog needs a muzzle in these settings, while the open basket allows panting and drinking during wear.

• For reward-based training, remove the guard insert to make giving treats easier.
• Use the correct fit for daily walks and longer periods of wear.

What does the additional guard insert help prevent?

The insert is designed to help stop a dog from scavenging food or wildlife on walks. It also helps prevent eating rocks, coprophagia and wound licking after surgery. This makes the muzzle relevant for several specific behaviours and situations, rather than only for bite prevention.

• The insert is removable, so it can be taken out for treat-based training.
• With the insert in place, the muzzle is designed to limit access to scavenged items.

How does the Size 5 muzzle fit?

The TPR basket can be reshaped using hot water to create a custom fit. An easy-to-adjust neck strap and clip secure the muzzle, while the padded nose piece adds cushioning at the nose. Correct fitting matters for daily use and longer wear; the basket design is intended to let a dog pant and drink while wearing it.

• The product is Baskerville Classic Basket Dog Muzzle, Size 5.
• The neck strap has an adjustable fit and a secure clip attachment.

This muzzle suits dog owners looking for a basket style for walks, training and situations such as vet or grooming visits, with an insert for scavenging management. It is designed for dogs who need bite prevention while retaining room to pant and drink, and its fit can be adjusted through hot-water reshaping and the neck strap.
