Baskerville ULTRA Dog Muzzle, Size 4 – Heat-Shapeable for Comfort

The Baskerville ULTRA Dog Muzzle is a heat-shapeable TPR muzzle designed to help manage dogs safely while allowing panting and drinking; this is Size 4 of six available sizes.

• Patented design allows dogs to pant and drink — supports everyday wear, including walks.
• Warm-water heat shaping — helps customize the muzzle to different nose shapes.
• Thermo Plastic Rubber (TPR) construction — designed to help prevent bites.
• Lockable neck strap clip, headstrap and collar attachment — provide options for securing the muzzle.
• Padded straps and no metal work on the dog’s face — address comfort where the muzzle contacts the dog.

A muzzle can help owners manage dogs during socialization, handling and situations where bite prevention matters. Developed by Dr. Roger Mugford, the Baskerville ULTRA is intended for dogs with different nose shapes, including shorter-nosed breeds such as Boxers. It can also be used during training for dogs that react around other dogs, people or unfamiliar settings such as a veterinary visit.

Can a dog pant, drink and receive rewards in the Baskerville ULTRA?

Yes, the patented design allows dogs to pant and drink while wearing the muzzle. Panting can matter when a dog is hot or stressed, and the muzzle is suitable for daily walks and longer periods of wear. The design also supports training and rewarding a reactive dog with treats.

• Use it for training around other dogs, people or new situations such as the vet.
• It is designed for supervised muzzle use during handling and socialization.

How does the Baskerville ULTRA fit different nose shapes?

The Baskerville ULTRA can be heat-shaped with warm water, much like a mouth-guard, to adapt its shape to different dog noses. It comes in six sizes, and this listing is Size 4. Use the fitting guide to identify the appropriate size for your dog; the warm-water shaping feature can then help tailor the fit.

• Made for a range of nose shapes, including shorter-nosed breeds such as Boxers.
• Choose the size using the fitting guide before fitting the muzzle.

What keeps the Baskerville ULTRA in place?

The Baskerville ULTRA combines a headstrap with a lockable neck strap clip, and it has a collar attachment for added security if needed. Its TPR construction is designed to help prevent bites, while padded straps provide cushioning and there is no metal work on the dog’s face.

• Three securing features: headstrap, lockable neck strap clip and collar attachment.
• Check that the fit is appropriate for your dog before use.

The Baskerville ULTRA suits owners who need a muzzle for training, socialization, handling or walks, including those working with a reactive dog or a shorter-nosed breed. It is a Size 4, heat-shapeable TPR muzzle with a pant-and-drink design and multiple securing features.
