BellyGuard Dog Surgery Recovery Suit, Cotton Onesie with Rear Snaps

BellyGuard is a cotton dog surgery recovery suit designed to cover post-operative wounds and help deter licking and scratching, with a pull-on design and rear snaps.

• Made for recovery after procedures such as spaying and neutering — provides a wearable alternative to a cone.
• Covers stitches and wounds to help deter licking and scratching — keeps the surgical area beneath the suit.
• Designed to let dogs move, eat, drink, and sleep without obstruction — supports everyday activities during recovery.
• Soft, stretch-fit cotton is lightweight and breathable — gives the suit its flexible, airy construction.
• Pulls on over the head and fastens at the rear; roll-up flaps secure with buttons — makes dressing and toilet breaks more convenient.

After surgery, some dogs need a way to cover the affected area while continuing familiar daily activities. BellyGuard is made for that recovery period, including after spaying or neutering. Its body-covering design offers an alternative to a dog cone, while the suit’s openings and fastenings make it possible to put on and adjust the garment for routine wear and toilet breaks.

How does the BellyGuard suit protect a dog after surgery?

The suit covers surgical wounds and stitches to help deter licking and scratching. It offers a fabric-covered alternative to a cone and is designed not to obstruct movement, eating, drinking, or sleeping. This makes it suitable for dogs that need wound coverage while carrying on with these everyday activities.

• Designed for post-surgery recovery, including spay and neuter procedures.
• Provides coverage over the body rather than placing a cone around the dog’s head.
• Helps discourage access to covered areas through licking or scratching.

How do you put it on and make room for toilet breaks?

Slide the suit over your dog’s head, then fasten it at the rear with the snaps. For a toilet break, roll up the suit as needed and use the buttons to secure the flaps. These closures allow access without needing to remove the whole garment.

• Head-entry design for putting the suit on.
• Rear snaps close the garment after it is positioned.
• Button-secured flaps can be rolled up for potty breaks.

What is the BellyGuard recovery suit made from?

BellyGuard is made from soft, stretch-fit cotton, with a lightweight and breathable construction. The stretch-fit fabric is intended to accommodate movement while the suit covers the body. These material and design features make it a wearable option for dogs during recovery, whether they need coverage after a procedure or need a cone alternative that allows everyday movement.

• Cotton fabric with a stretch fit.
• Lightweight, breathable construction.
• Made for both female and male dogs recovering after surgery.

BellyGuard is suited to dog owners looking for post-operative body coverage that still allows their dog to move, eat, drink, sleep, and take toilet breaks. Its cotton stretch-fit fabric, rear snaps, and roll-up buttoned flaps make it a practical recovery garment for dogs after procedures such as spaying or neutering.
