BellyGuard Dog Surgery Recovery Suit for Spay and Neuter, Breathable Cotton

BellyGuard Dog Surgery Recovery Suit is a post-surgery bodysuit for dogs that covers wounds to help deter licking and scratching during recovery.

• Soft, stretch-fit cotton — gives the suit a flexible feel for recovery wear.
• Lightweight, breathable construction — designed for comfortable wear.
• Rear snap closure — secures the suit after it is pulled over your dog’s head.
• Roll-up toilet flap with securing buttons — makes potty breaks easier.
• Allows dogs to move, eat, drink, and sleep — supports everyday activities while wearing the suit.

After surgery, a dog may need a way to cover the affected area without the obstruction of a cone. BellyGuard is made for post-operative use, including recovery after spaying or neutering. Its bodysuit design covers the wound area to discourage licking and scratching, while the stretch-fit construction is intended to let dogs continue routine activities in the suit.

How does BellyGuard help cover a dog’s surgical wounds?

The suit covers wounds to help deter licking and scratching, making it a cone alternative for dogs recovering after surgery. It is suitable for female dogs after spaying and male dogs after neutering. The soft, stretch-fit cotton is intended to provide comfort for antsy dogs and help alleviate stress and anxiety.

• Made for post-surgery recovery wear.
• Designed for female and male dogs.

Can a dog move and rest while wearing the recovery suit?

Yes. BellyGuard is designed to allow dogs to move, eat, drink, and sleep without obstruction from the suit. Its lightweight, breathable construction and flexible fit are made for wear during recovery, rather than restricting those everyday activities.

• Stretch-fit cotton forms the suit’s flexible fabric construction.
• The bodysuit provides wound coverage without using a cone.

How do you put on the suit and manage toilet breaks?

Slide BellyGuard over your dog’s head, then fasten the snaps at the rear. For a potty break, roll up the suit’s flap and secure it with the buttons. This design lets you open the rear area when needed without removing the entire suit.

• Pull-on dressing starts at the head.
• Buttons hold the rolled-up flap during toilet breaks.

BellyGuard is suited to dogs needing wound coverage after procedures such as spaying or neutering, and to owners looking for a bodysuit-style alternative to a cone. Its recovery-focused coverage, flexible cotton construction, and adjustable access for potty breaks make it a practical option for post-surgery routines. It is a dog recovery garment designed to cover wounds while allowing routine movement and bathroom access.
