BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative, Medium+ Blue, Soft Post-Surgery Recovery

BENCMATE’s Medium+ blue inflatable dog cone collar is a soft recovery alternative designed to help keep dogs from licking or biting injured areas, with a donut shape and an inner air bag.

• Inflatable donut shape — creates a barrier around the neck to help limit access to wounds or surgical sites.
• Inner air bag and soft outer material — provide neck support in a gentler-feeling collar alternative.
• Unobstructed vision — lets dogs see while wearing the collar.
• Zippered removable outer cover — makes the cover easy to take off for cleaning.
• Inner fixation straps and hook-and-loop closure — help secure and adjust the collar.
• Deflatable design — makes the collar easier to store in a small space.

After surgery or an injury, dogs may need a wearable barrier that discourages access to the affected area without blocking their view. This donut-style collar is made for that recovery role, while allowing everyday activities such as eating, drinking, sleeping and playing. Its soft outer material also makes it suitable for wearing as a neck pillow.

What is the BENCMATE recovery collar designed to do?

It is designed to help prevent a dog from biting or licking an injured area or surgical site. The inflated shape sits around the neck as a protective barrier, supporting recovery from surgery or wounds while the soft material rests against the dog.

• Intended for post-surgery and wound-protection use.
• Also designed to help protect against injuries and rashes.

Can a dog see and carry on normal activities in it?

Yes. The collar does not obstruct a dog’s sight, unlike a traditional Elizabethan collar that can block vision. Dogs can eat, drink, sleep and play while wearing it, with the collar providing neck support around the recovery area.

• The open view is a useful difference from vision-blocking cone styles.
• The collar is also designed to serve as a neck pillow.

How do I secure the collar and choose the right fit?

Measure your dog’s neck circumference before choosing a size. To help keep the collar in place, thread your dog’s regular collar through the fixation straps inside the recovery collar, then adjust the hook-and-loop closure. Position the closure at the back of the neck to make it harder for your dog to bite.

• If the recovery collar feels loose or slips off, loop the everyday collar together with it.
• Adjust the closure to set the tightness around your dog’s neck.

How do I clean and store the collar?

Unzip the outer cover to remove it for cleaning. When the collar is not in use, release the air so it can be deflated and stored in a small space. A zipper opening on one side provides access to the collar’s interior.

• The cover can be separated from the inflatable inner component.
• Deflating the collar reduces the space it takes up during storage.

This Medium+ blue collar suits dog owners looking for a vision-friendly barrier during recovery from surgery or wounds, with an adjustable fit and a removable cover. Its inflatable donut design provides neck support while helping limit access to the affected area.
