BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative, Medium+ Orca Recovery Collar

BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative is a Medium+ recovery collar designed to help protect dogs from licking or biting injured areas, with an inflatable inner air bag and a soft outer cover.

• Inflatable inner air bag — forms a cushioned barrier around your dog’s neck.
• Designed for post-surgery and wound care — helps limit access to affected areas.
• Open sight line — lets dogs see while eating, drinking, resting, and playing.
• Adjustable hook-and-loop closure and inner fixation straps — help secure the collar and adjust its fit.
• Deflates for compact storage — takes up less space when not in use.

After surgery or an injury, dogs may need a barrier that helps keep them from reaching a wound without blocking their view. This inflatable collar is made for recovery periods when a dog still needs to move around, eat, drink, and rest. The Medium+ size is identified in the product name; measure your dog’s neck circumference before choosing it.

How does this collar help protect a dog after surgery?

The inflated collar sits around the neck as a plump barrier intended to make it harder for a dog to lick or bite an injured area or surgical site. Its soft outer material provides gentle contact, while the collar supports the neck without the vision-blocking shape of a traditional Elizabethan collar.

• Made for use around injuries and post-surgery wounds.
• Also serves as a neck pillow while your dog rests.

Can a dog see and move around while wearing it?

Yes. The collar is designed to leave a dog’s sight unobstructed, so familiar activities such as eating, drinking, sleeping, and playing remain possible while the barrier is worn. This makes it an alternative to a conventional cone that can block a dog’s view.

• The soft outer cover surrounds an inflatable inner air bag.
• Place the hook-and-loop closure at the back of the dog’s neck to help prevent chewing at the fastening.

How do you secure, clean, and store the collar?

Thread your dog’s everyday collar through the fixation straps inside the recovery collar, then adjust the hook-and-loop closure for a secure fit. If the recovery collar slips because it is loose, looping the everyday collar through it can help keep it in place.

• A zipper opening lets you remove the outer cover for cleaning.
• Deflate the collar for compact storage; the zipper is on one side.
• Fabric options include plush, soft-touch fabric for solid colors and anti-stick, scratch-resistant, stretchy fabric for colorful options.

This Medium+ Orca collar suits dog owners looking for a recovery barrier that allows an open view and can be secured using the dog’s own collar. Measure neck circumference to help choose the fit; the inflatable design, adjustable closure, and inner fixation straps support its use as a post-surgery collar alternative.
