BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative, Medium+ Soft Recovery Donut

BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative in Medium+ is an inflatable recovery collar designed to help keep dogs from licking or biting injured areas, with an inner air bag and a soft outer collar.

• Inflatable donut shape — creates a barrier around the neck to help prevent access to wounds.
• Open sightline — lets dogs see while eating, drinking, sleeping and playing.
• Two outer fabric options — choose plush soft-touch fabric or stretchy, anti-stick, scratch-resistant fabric.
• Removable outer cover — unzip the cover for removal.
• Inner fixation straps and hook-and-loop closure — help secure and adjust the collar.

After surgery or an injury, a dog may need a barrier that helps limit licking and biting without blocking its view. This recovery collar is made for that purpose, while its soft outer material also lets it serve as a neck pillow.

How does the BENCMATE collar help protect an injured area?

The inflatable collar forms a plump barrier around the dog’s neck to help prevent access to an injured area or surgical site. It is designed to help protect against licking, biting, rashes and further injury while a dog recovers from surgery or wounds.

• The inner air bag provides neck support.
• The donut-style shape leaves the dog’s sightline open.

Can dogs see and move around while wearing it?

Yes, the BENCMATE collar is designed to avoid obstructing a dog’s vision, unlike a traditional Elizabethan collar that can block the view. Dogs can eat, drink, sleep and play while wearing it, with the collar acting as a protective barrier. Its soft exterior can also function as a neck pillow and is intended to help dogs settle to sleep and relieve wound pain.

• The collar is intended to provide protection without restricting the dog’s view.
• Its soft exterior provides a cushioned resting surface around the neck.

How do the fabrics and fit work?

Choose between plush, soft-touch fabric in solid colors and stretchy, anti-stick, scratch-resistant fabric in colorful options. The inner straps are designed to thread through the dog’s everyday collar to help hold the recovery collar in place, and the hook-and-loop closure adjusts its tightness.

• Measure your dog’s neck circumference before choosing a size.
• Place the closure at the back of the neck to help prevent the dog from biting it.
• If the collar slips because it is a little large, loop the everyday collar through the recovery collar’s straps to help keep it on.

How can the collar be removed and stored?

The BENCMATE collar has a zipper opening on one side, allowing the outer cover to be removed, and it can be deflated for compact storage. The hook-and-loop closure also makes it easier to put on and take off.

• Unzip the cover to remove it.
• Deflate the collar before storing it in a small space.

This Medium+ recovery collar suits dog owners looking for a soft, inflatable barrier after surgery or an injury, with an unobstructed sightline and an adjustable way to secure it. Measuring the dog’s neck circumference before choosing helps guide the fit.
