BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Recovery Collar, Medium+ Soft Cushioned Cone Alternative

BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative is a Medium+ recovery collar designed to help keep dogs from licking or biting injured areas after surgery.

• Inflatable donut shape — forms a cushioned barrier around your dog’s neck.
• Inner air bag and soft outer material — provide neck support without blocking your dog’s vision.
• Two fabric options — choose plush, soft-touch fabric or stretchy, scratch-resistant fabric.
• Removable outer cover — unzip it for removal when cleaning.
• Deflatable design — lets you store the collar in a small space when it is not in use.

After surgery or an injury, dogs may try to reach the affected area by licking or chewing. This inflatable recovery collar is made to create a comfortable barrier while allowing your dog to see and move around without the visual obstruction of a traditional Elizabethan collar.

How does the BENCMATE collar help protect a healing area?

The inflated collar surrounds the neck to help limit access to wounds, rashes, and surgical sites. Its soft outer material provides a gentler contact surface, while the inner air bag supports the neck. The collar is intended to help discourage biting and licking as your dog recovers from surgery or an injury.

• Use it as a dog-cone alternative after surgery or for protection from reaching an injured area.
• The collar is designed to let dogs eat, drink, sleep, and play while wearing it.

Can my dog see and move comfortably while wearing it?

Yes. The collar sits around the neck rather than extending across the face, so it does not block your dog’s field of vision like a conventional cone. BENCMATE also presents it as a neck pillow that may help your dog settle for sleep and relieve wound pain.

• Solid-color options use plush, soft-touch fabric.
• Colorful options use anti-stick, scratch-resistant, stretchy fabric.

How do I fit and clean the BENCMATE recovery collar?

Measure your dog’s neck circumference before choosing the Medium+ size, and use the inner fixation straps to secure the collar. Thread your dog’s regular collar through these straps, adjust the hook-and-loop closure, and position the closure at the back of the neck to make it harder for your dog to bite. If the recovery collar is loose and slips off, looping the regular collar together with it can help keep it in place.

• A zipper opening on one side lets you deflate the collar for compact storage.
• Unzip the outer cover to remove it for cleaning; no specific washing method is provided here.

The BENCMATE Medium+ recovery collar suits dog owners looking for a soft, inflatable alternative to a face-obstructing cone during recovery from surgery or an injury. Its neck-worn barrier, adjustable attachment, and removable cover make it a practical option for dogs that need help staying away from a healing area while continuing everyday activities.
