BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Recovery Collar, XLarge, Soft Cone Alternative for Post-Surgery Care

BENCMATE XLarge Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative is an air-filled recovery collar designed to help protect dogs from licking or biting injured areas and surgical sites, with a soft outer cover and adjustable hook-and-loop closure.

• Inflatable inner air bag forms a barrier around the neck — helps keep dogs from reaching wounds or surgery sites.
• Open design does not obstruct vision — lets dogs see while wearing the collar.
• Inner fixation straps secure the collar to a dog’s everyday collar — helps keep the recovery collar in place.
• Removable outer cover with a zipper — makes cleaning the cover easier.
• Deflates for storage — takes up less space when not in use.

After surgery or an injury, dogs may need a barrier that discourages licking and biting without the blocked view of a traditional Elizabethan collar. This inflatable collar is made for recovery periods when a dog needs neck support while still being able to eat, drink, sleep, and play.

How does the BENCMATE inflatable collar help protect a dog?

The air-filled collar sits around the dog’s neck as a cushioned barrier intended to limit access to injured areas and surgical sites. Its open design leaves the dog’s vision unobstructed, unlike a conventional cone that can block the view. The soft outer material also lets the collar double as a neck pillow.

• Designed to help prevent biting and licking at wounds.
• Provides full neck support through its inner air bag.
• May be worn while eating, drinking, sleeping, and playing.

How do you secure and adjust the recovery collar?

Thread the dog’s everyday collar through the fixation straps inside the BENCMATE collar, then adjust the hook-and-loop closure for fit. Position the closure at the back of the dog’s neck to help prevent chewing at it. Measure your dog’s neck circumference before choosing the XLarge size.

• Internal straps are designed to hold the recovery collar in place.
• The closure makes the collar easier to put on and take off.
• If the collar is loose and slips off, looping the everyday collar through the recovery collar can help secure it.

What fabric and care features does this collar have?

BENCMATE offers two outer-cover fabric options: plush, soft-touch fabric in solid colors, or stretchy, anti-stick and scratch-resistant fabric in colorful options. The cover unzips for removal, while the collar can be deflated for compact storage.

• Choose between the listed solid-color and colorful fabric options.
• A zipper on one side opens the outer cover.
• The inflatable collar deflates when it is time to store it.

This XLarge recovery collar suits dog owners looking for an inflatable alternative to a vision-blocking cone during wound or post-surgery care. Measure neck circumference for sizing and use the inner straps to connect it to the dog’s everyday collar; its open design supports visibility while creating a barrier around the neck.
