BioFill BioTurf Granular Turf Infill, 18.9 L Pail for Pet Odour Control

BioFill BioTurf is a granular turf infill made to neutralize pet odors in outdoor areas, supplied in a 5-gallon pail for treating artificial grass and other pet spaces.

• One 5-gallon pail of naturally derived mineral granules — a bulk supply for lawns, dog runs, and pet areas.
• Absorbs moisture and ammonia-based compounds — targets odor sources instead of simply masking smells.
• Made for odors from dog urine and feces — helps keep outdoor pet areas fresher.
• Non-toxic formula, safe for pets and plants immediately after application — suitable for treated play areas and nearby landscaping.
• Designed for outdoor use in heat and moderate rain — supports routine odor control across the seasons.

Pet waste can leave lingering odors in the places dogs use most, including artificial lawns, kennels, and yard runs. BioTurf is made for those outdoor spaces, where a granule that works down into turf fibers can treat odor at its source rather than relying on a surface-level scent to cover it.

How does BioTurf target pet odors?

BioTurf’s naturally derived, highly absorbent mineral granules trap moisture and neutralize ammonia-based compounds on contact. The granules settle into the base of artificial turf fibers, where they address smells from urine and solid waste. This infill approach provides continuous odor control and is designed to last longer than standard liquid sprays.

• Absorbs moisture like a sponge.
• Targets odor-causing compounds rather than covering them with fragrance.
• Can be used alongside liquid enzyme sprays for a combined cleaning routine.

Which outdoor areas can I treat with BioTurf?

BioTurf is suitable for artificial turf, dog runs, patios, kennels, gravel runs, and spots of real grass. Its 5-gallon pail is intended for larger lawns and pet areas as well as smaller potty patches, so you can apply it where your dog spends time outdoors. The formula is non-toxic and safe for pets and plants immediately after application, and it will not harm paws or nearby flowers and landscaping.

• Use it on artificial grass and designated dog areas.
• Apply it to gravel runs and real-grass spots as well as turf.
• Treat outdoor play areas without leaving harsh chemical residues.

How do I apply BioTurf, and how often?

Spread the granules evenly by hand or with a spreader, then use a broom to brush them into the turf fibers; no mixing is needed. For high-traffic areas, apply monthly or as needed based on pet use. With lighter use, one application can last several weeks. Heat and moderate rain are compatible with outdoor use, while heavy rain may call for a touch-up.

• Normal moisture helps activate the odor-absorbing properties.
• Reapply after heavy rain when needed.
• Use with liquid enzymatic cleaners or sprays as part of a broader cleaning routine.

BioFill BioTurf suits pet owners who want to manage urine and waste odors across artificial grass, runs, patios, and other outdoor pet areas. It is a brush-in granular infill for routine yard care, with a 5-gallon supply made for treating larger spaces as well as smaller patches.
