Brabtod is a green carbon steel bird seed storage canister for keeping outdoor bird feed and pet kibble together, with room for 5–6 lb (2.3–2.7 kg) of food.

• Carbon steel body — offers a metal alternative to fragile glass or plastic jars.
• Wooden lid with air-fresh valve technology — helps keep air out and food fresh.
• 7 × 6 × 9 in (18 × 15 × 23 cm) — gives you the canister’s exact footprint and height for choosing a storage spot.
• Green enamel finish and raised “Bird Feed” lettering — make the container easy to identify in your storage area.
• Handle and food scoop — provide useful accessories for handling and serving stored feed.

Bird seed and kibble are easier to manage when they have a dedicated place indoors or near an outdoor feeding area. Brabtod’s canister is made for storing bird food between refills, while its vintage farmhouse appearance suits spaces such as a kitchen, pantry, living room or banquet area. Squirrel prevention is named as one of its intended purposes; the product is a storage canister rather than a stated locking or squirrel-proof system.

What can I store in the Brabtod bird seed canister?

It holds wild bird seed, sunflower seed and pet kibble, with a range of seed varieties suited to its food-storage use. Its 5–6 lb capacity helps keep a supply of feed in one container instead of loose bags.

• Suitable seed options include sunflower, safflower, Nyjer or thistle, white proso millet, shelled and cracked corn, peanuts, milo or sorghum, golden and red millet, flax, rapeseed and canary seed.
• The raised “Bird Feed” design identifies the container’s intended contents.

How does the lid help store bird food?

The wooden lid uses air-fresh valve technology intended to keep air out of the canister and help preserve the freshness and quality of its contents. The carbon steel body has an enamel exterior and is described as easy to clean and maintain.

• The lid and body combine wood and carbon steel.
• The container’s green enamel finish gives it a vintage, farmhouse-style look.
