For dogs that pull during outdoor exercise, a harness needs to fit the dog’s shape and suit the activity. This design is intended for mushing and other pulling sports, including sledding, dog trekking, canicross, skijoring and bikejoring. Its stated size range is for an average-sized dog about 45–50 lb (about 20.4–22.7 kg); fit should be judged by measurements as well as weight.

How do I choose the right size?

Size L fits a neck circumference of 15–19 in (38–48 cm), a chest circumference of 25.5–33.5 in (65–85 cm), and a back length of 19.5–25 in (50–64 cm). Measure your dog’s neck carefully and compare the measurements with the size chart before choosing. The harness is intended for an average-sized dog around the stated weight range, but individual measurements are the practical guide to fit.
