When a dog needs to go out, barking or scratching at the door may be the way they currently get attention. This doorbell provides a repeatable signal that can be added to a potty-training routine, giving puppies and senior dogs a touch-operated way to communicate. The set includes two receivers and two buttons, so you can position buttons where your dog can reach them and use the paired chime receivers in your home.

How does the Cangecit dog doorbell support potty training?

Teach your dog to touch the button before going outside, following the simple sequence: touch, chime, outside. The larger touch zone and quick response are designed to register a gentle nose tap or paw press, giving dogs a clear way to signal for potty breaks, outdoor time or an opened door. It offers a consistent action to practise as part of your routine, rather than relying on barking or scratching to alert you.

• Use the same button touch as the cue before opening the door.
• The signal can be used when your dog needs a potty break or wants outdoor time.

Where can I place the buttons, and how far does the signal reach?

Mount a button on a door, wall or near the floor at a height your dog can comfortably reach. Installation needs no drilling or wiring: plug in a receiver, then secure the button with the included adhesive or hook-and-loop fastener. The wireless signal reaches up to 1000 ft in open areas (305 m), with coverage intended for spaces such as upstairs rooms, garages and backyards.

• Choose a location along your dog’s usual route to the door.
• Use the open-area range as the stated maximum; the product gives no separate indoor range figure.

How do I choose a chime and pair a button?

Select from 55 melodies and 5 adjustable volume levels, including mute, for the paired transmitter. To sync, plug in the receiver and choose a melody, then press and hold its Volume button for 5 seconds until it beeps and flashes. Touch the wireless transmitter within 8 seconds to finish pairing.

• Built-in memory retains your selected settings after power loss or battery changes.
• A 30-second visual walkthrough is available in the last product video.

Can the Cangecit dog doorbell button be used outdoors?

The transmitter has IP65 protection and is designed to handle rain, snow, humidity and everyday splashes. Its stated operating temperature range is -22°F to 158°F (−30°C to 70°C). IP65 protection does not make the transmitter suitable for direct submersion in water, so place it where it can signal outdoors without being submerged.

• Use the transmitter indoors or outdoors within its stated operating temperature range.
• Keep the transmitter out of water when it could be submerged.

This set suits households training a puppy or senior dog to signal before going outside, and homes where a button needs to be reachable in more than one location. Its two receivers, two touch buttons, adjustable chime choices and IP65 transmitter support a simple touch-to-chime routine indoors or outdoors. It is designed for signaling outdoor needs, not for use with a transmitter submerged in water.
