Carefree Fish Aquarium Air Stone Strip, 6 or 12 Inch Nanomaterial Bubble Diffuser

The Carefree Fish aquarium air stone strip creates fine bubbles to support oxygen exchange in saltwater and freshwater tanks, with 6- or 12-inch options and nanomaterial construction.

• Nanomaterial construction — produces extremely small bubbles and has a high oxygen-solubility rate.
• Suitable for saltwater and freshwater — fits either type of aquarium.
• High-temperature fired — designed for a long service life and to avoid sand loss.
• 12-inch version measures 12 × 1.6 inches (30 × 4 cm) — gives you a clear size to compare with your tank setup.
• Air pump not included — connect the stone to an air pump after soaking it before use.

Air stones are used to release bubbles into aquarium water. This strip is made for fish tanks where fine bubbles and added oxygen exchange are wanted, and its stated compatibility covers both saltwater and freshwater setups. Choose from 6- or 12-inch versions to suit your arrangement; the listed dimensions apply to the 12-inch version.

How does the Carefree Fish air stone strip support aquarium water?

Its nanomaterial construction produces extremely small bubbles and has a high oxygen-solubility rate, with the design intended to support fish health. The air stone itself does not include an air pump, so it needs to be connected to one to operate.

• Made for use with an aquarium air pump.
• Can be connected in series with another air stone.

How do I prepare the air stone before connecting it?

Soak the Carefree Fish air stone in water for 12 hours before connecting it to the pump. Keep it at a 45-degree angle with the air inlet facing upward while it is submerged; this is the preparation method given for achieving the best results.

• Position the air inlet above the rest of the stone during soaking.
• Connect it to the air pump after the 12-hour soak.

What should I know about the size and setup?

The Carefree Fish strip is offered in 6- and 12-inch options, and the 12-inch version measures 12 × 1.6 inches (30 × 4 cm). Its weight is intended to keep it in place in the tank. When using suction cups with two stones connected in series, keep the stones separated while submerged before removing them from the water; otherwise, the connection point can be damaged.

• Compare the stated 12-inch dimensions with the space available in your aquarium.
• Keep linked stones apart during the suction-cup setup described above.

How can I clean it if algae blocks the airflow?

If algae growth inside the Carefree Fish air stone stops the airflow, soak it in 84 disinfectant water and clean it thoroughly before using it again. Its high-temperature firing is intended to help it last through use in saltwater without losing sand.

• Clean thoroughly after soaking before reconnecting the stone.
• Made for saltwater as well as freshwater aquariums.

This strip suits aquarium keepers who want a fine-bubble air stone for a saltwater or freshwater tank and are prepared to connect their own air pump. It is a 6- or 12-inch air stone, with the pump sold separately.
