Carhartt Field Nylon Dog Collar, Port, Large – Reflective with Rotating D-Ring

The Carhartt Field Nylon Dog Collar is made for dogs on everyday outdoor walks, with 600-denier fabric and a rotating floating D-ring for leash attachment.

• 600-denier fabric resists stretching, absorbs less water than standard nylon, and repels odors — made for repeated outdoor use.
• Floating D-ring rotates around the collar — keeps the leash attachment point accessible as the collar moves.
• Glove-friendly side-release buckle with a safety design — allows quick operation while helping prevent accidental disengagement.
• 3M Scotchlite reflective wordmark — adds low-light visibility on early and evening outings.
• Metal strap adjuster — holds the selected fit between adjustments.
• Large fits necks 18–26 in (45.7–66 cm) and is 1 in (2.5 cm) wide — for a measured fit on larger dogs.

For dogs joining their people on trails, at dog parks, and on daily walks, collar hardware needs to stay practical as activity and conditions change. The Field collar is designed for outdoor use throughout the year, including walks in the early morning and evening. Its combination of adjustable fit, rotating leash ring, and reflective wordmark brings together the key features for routine outings.

What makes this collar suited to outdoor walks?

Its 600-denier fabric is designed to resist stretching, take up less water than standard nylon collars, and repel odors during daily outdoor wear. Those properties suit routines that include trails, dog parks, and regular walks, where a collar may encounter changing outdoor conditions. Carhartt offers the Field collar in multiple colorways, including Greenstone, Carhartt Brown, Marine Blue, Deep Wine, Industry Red, Brite Lime, and Hunter Orange.

• The fabric’s stretch resistance supports use during regular activity.
• Lower water absorption than standard nylon and odor-repelling properties are built into the collar fabric.
• Color options include both subdued and bright choices.

How do the leash ring and buckle work?

The floating D-ring rotates freely around the collar, keeping the leash attachment point accessible when the collar shifts. Unlike a fixed ring, it can move rather than pressing against one spot on the dog’s neck. A metal strap adjuster holds the fit you set between adjustments.

The side-release buckle is designed to open and close quickly, including when hands are wet or covered by heavy work gloves. Its built-in safety design helps prevent accidental disengagement when a dog pulls against the leash. The 3M Scotchlite reflective wordmark adds visibility in low light, including on dawn and dusk walks.

• Rotating ring moves with the collar instead of remaining fixed in one position.
• Buckle operation is designed for gloved hands, wet hands, and cold-weather use.
• Reflective wordmark is intended to help make dogs more visible during low-light outings.

Which size fits my dog?

The Large size fits a neck measuring 18–26 in (45.7–66 cm) and has a 1 in (2.5 cm) width. Measure around the base of your dog’s neck to choose the fit. • Medium: 12–18 in (30.5–45.7 cm) neck; 0.75 in (1.9 cm) collar width.
