Carhartt No-Pull Dog Harness, Medium, Carhartt Brown with Water-Repellent Fabric

The Carhartt No Pull Dog Harness is made for training and everyday walks, combining a martingale chest strap with 500-denier polyester and Rain Defender durable water repellent to help keep your dog dry in light rain.

• Over-the-head, yoke-style design — puts the harness on without stepping into leg openings.
• Adjustable chest and belly straps — let you customize the fit.
• Spacer mesh backing — provides a breathable layer against your dog.
• Reflective stitching — increases visibility in low-light conditions.
• Walking-harness design — provides increased control while allowing a full range of motion.

For training sessions and day-to-day handling, this harness is designed to offer more control during walks while still allowing your dog to move freely. Its construction brings together fit adjustments, a chest strap designed for no-pull function, and features suited to outdoor use, including light rain and dim conditions.

How does the no-pull design help during walks?

The martingale chest strap provides the harness’s no-pull function, supporting increased control when walking or handling your dog. The over-the-head, yoke-style design keeps the harness arranged around the chest and body, while the adjustable straps allow you to customize how it sits. Together, these features make it suitable for training as well as everyday walks without restricting the full range of motion the harness is designed to allow.

• Made for training and day-to-day handling.
• Designed to provide control while allowing freedom of movement.

How does the harness handle light rain and outdoor use?

The 500-denier polyester construction has Rain Defender durable water repellent technology to repel light rain and help maintain the harness’s form with daily use. This makes the harness suited to walks in light rain and wet conditions; the stated water-repellent function is for light rain, not a claim of waterproofing. Reflective low-light stitching adds visibility when conditions are dim, so the harness combines weather-related construction with a visibility feature for outdoor walks.

• Rain Defender DWR repels light rain.
• Reflective stitching is intended to increase low-light visibility.

How does the harness fit, and what is the Medium size range?

Medium fits a chest girth of 21–28 inches (53.3–71.1 cm). Measure your dog’s chest girth and compare it with the range before choosing; the harness also has adjustable chest and belly straps for a customizable fit. The over-the-head yoke-style design is worn over your dog’s head, and spacer mesh backing provides a breathable layer as the harness is worn.

• Small: 16–20 inches (40.6–50.8 cm) chest girth.
• Large: 26–35 inches (66–88.9 cm) chest girth.
• Extra Large: 33–46 inches (83.8–116.8 cm) chest girth.

Active dogs and handlers looking for a walking harness for training or regular outings can make use of its adjustable fit, movement-friendly design, and features for light rain and low-light conditions. The Medium size fits a 21–28-inch chest girth, and the harness is designed to provide increased control while allowing a full range of motion.
