This carrier is made for handling small cats during everyday care that can be difficult to manage without controlled access to their paws. Use it for nail trimming, grooming, medication administration, dental care, vet visits and travel. The design leaves the cat’s head out while allowing access to the feet through dedicated openings.

What size cat fits the Small Cozy Comfort Carrier?

The Small carrier is intended for cats weighing approximately 5–10 lb (2.3–4.5 kg) with a torso length of 11–14 in (27.9–35.6 cm). Measure from the base of the head to the base of the tail when choosing a size. Weight and torso length are approximate, and cats at the same weight can have different body lengths.

• Use torso length as well as weight when assessing fit.
• The length measurement runs from the base of the head to the base of the tail.

How does the carrier provide access for grooming?

Velcro ports open for access to the front feet, while unzipping the bottom provides access to the back feet. This layout makes the carrier suitable for nail cutting and grooming tasks without removing the cat from the pouch.

• Designed for nail trimming, medication administration and dental care.
• The front and back feet have separate access points.

How does the Cozy Comfort Carrier work for travel?

The padded handle also works as a shoulder strap, and a seat-belt pass-through helps secure the carrier on a car seat. A soft Velcro collar holds the cat’s head outside the bag without a restrictive fit; the design is intended to ease confinement fear in most cats.

• Some cats may need a gradual introduction to adjust to the carrier.
• Suitable for use during vet visits and car travel.

What are the fabric and design details?

The carrier’s tightly woven fabric is designed to resist claw damage while remaining breathable. This Small carrier is red; the range also comes in lavender, light blue, cobalt blue, charcoal, caramel and green. Cat-in-the-Bag is a US-based brand, and the carrier was designed in America with hands-on feedback from cat owners.

• The brand has more than 26 years of experience and thousands of satisfied customers.
• Red is one of seven available color options.

The Cozy Comfort Carrier suits people caring for a small cat who want access to paws for grooming and a carrier designed for vet visits or car travel. Its fit guidance is for cats in the approximate weight and torso-length range given above.
