ChokeFree Pet Shoulder Collar, 8-Inch Non-Metallic Pink Leather Restraint

ChokeFree Pet Shoulder Collar is a leather walking restraint designed to keep leash pressure off a pet’s neck and airway, with a one-piece shoulder wrap and Val-Lock closure.

• Shoulder-wrap design — keeps restraint pressure away from the neck, fore chest, and airway.
• Leather construction with paw ornaments — gives the collar its distinctive pink look.
• Patented D-ring and hook-and-loop closure — secures the wrap without buckles or clasps.
• Fits chest circumferences from 8 to 28 inches (20.3 to 71.1 cm) — covers a range of pet sizes.
• Easy-on, easy-off design — makes putting on and removing the restraint straightforward.

For pets that pull against a leash, conventional neck collars and some harnesses can place pressure on the throat or airway. ChokeFree is made for walks and other leash-restraint situations where keeping pressure away from those areas matters. Its shoulder-based design offers an alternative to restraints that load the neck.

How does the ChokeFree collar keep pressure off the neck?

The one-piece collar wraps around the pet’s shoulders rather than applying restraint pressure to the neck, fore chest, or airway. This design is intended to help reduce choking and neck-related restraint concerns during walks. It does not guarantee a particular health outcome.

• Combines the simplicity of a one-piece collar with features of a harness.
• Made for use with a restraint leash.
• ChokeFree is also suitable for use with Paw Rider.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure your pet’s chest circumference just behind the front legs; ChokeFree sizes cover measurements from 8 to 28 inches (20.3 to 71.1 cm). Add 1 inch (2.54 cm) to the chest measurement to determine the correct size.

• The product title identifies this version as 8-Inch.
• Use the chest measurement, not the neck measurement, for sizing.

How does the closure work?

The patented Val-Lock closure uses a D-ring placed through hook-and-loop material to secure the shoulder wrap. It is designed to restrain a pet without conventional buckles or clasps, while keeping the collar easy to put on and take off.

• One-piece shoulder wrap.
• Non-metallic pink color.
• Leather construction with paw ornaments.

ChokeFree suits pet owners looking for a shoulder-based leash restraint and a way to avoid placing leash pressure on the neck and airway. It is sized by chest circumference, so the measurement behind the front legs is the key fit detail.
