Coats can hold onto oils, styling products, waxes, and outdoor dirt, leaving hair weighed down or making it harder to begin a fresh grooming routine. Clean Start is made for those deep-cleaning moments, as well as for oily coats that need gentle degreasing. Its clarifying wash is also used before specialty shampoos, conditioners, or styling products.

What does Clean Start Clarifying Shampoo remove?

Chris Christensen Clean Start Clarifying Dog Shampoo removes accumulated grooming products, waxes, resins, dirt, mineral deposits, and odor-causing grime. • Clears leftover residue before the next step in a grooming routine.
• Works as a gentle degreaser for dogs and cats with oily coats.

Can I use it before other grooming products?

Yes. Chris Christensen Clean Start is made to clarify the coat before applying specialty shampoos, conditioners, or styling products. • Designed for use as a preparatory wash in multi-step grooming.
• Helps clear materials that can interfere with the coat’s natural shine, health, and vitality.
• The brand also says Clean Start helps prevent off-casts.
