Chris Christensen Ice on Ice Detangling Dog Conditioner, 3.8 L, Argan Oil for Mats

Chris Christensen Ice on Ice is a detangling conditioner for dogs that helps loosen mats and restore coat moisture, with nourishing Moroccan argan oil in a 1-gallon size.

• Moroccan argan oil — helps restore the coat’s natural moisture balance while easing knots and tangles.
• Helps reinforce weakened strands and improve elasticity — supports coat protection and helps reduce breakage and future matting.
• Dilute 8:1, or use straight for extreme matting — lets you adjust application to the coat’s needs.
• For all coat types and dog breeds, including doodles, and long-haired cats — suits a range of grooming routines.
• 1-gallon size, made in the USA — provides a larger format for professional grooming use.

Knots and mats can make drying, combing, and brushing more difficult. Ice on Ice Detangling Conditioner is made to help make coat care more manageable during bathing and grooming, whether you are maintaining a dog’s coat at home or working with multiple coats in a professional setting. It is also suitable for long-haired cats.

What does Ice on Ice conditioner do for a dog’s coat?

It helps detangle the coat, loosen mats, and strengthen and repair damaged coats. Moroccan argan oil penetrates the hair shaft and helps restore the coat’s natural moisture balance, while the formula reinforces weakened strands and supports elasticity. The conditioned coat is intended to feel soft, silky, and easier to manage.

• Helps protect strands from breakage and the coat from future matting.
• Regular bathing can also loosen excessive undercoat.

How do you use this dematting conditioner?

Dilute Ice on Ice Conditioner at an 8:1 ratio for general use, or apply it straight from the bottle when dealing with extreme matting. For maximum results, use it after Chris Christensen Ice on Ice Detangling Shampoo. The conditioner rinses easily and is formulated not to leave a heavy or greasy residue.

• Conditioning is designed to make drying, combing, and brushing easier.
• The fresh fragrance is described as lasting for days, and the coat can remain silky for weeks after use.

Which coats and grooming routines is the gallon size for?

The conditioner can be used on all coat types and dog breeds, including doodles, and on long-haired cats. This listing is the 1-gallon format; a 16 fl oz size is also available for at-home use. Chris Christensen’s grooming products have been developed with dog-show grooming in mind since 1996.

• Use the dilution guidance to match the application to the coat’s condition.
• The 1-gallon format is intended for professional grooming use.

Ice on Ice is suited to groomers and pet owners caring for dogs of varied coat types, as well as long-haired cats, who want help with detangling and routine coat maintenance. Its argan-oil formula, adjustable dilution, and gallon format make it a practical fit for grooming routines that include mat loosening and coat conditioning.
