Chris Christensen Small Dog Brush, 20 mm Oval Wood Pins for Gentle, Static-Free Grooming

The Chris Christensen Small 20 mm Oval Wood Pin Brush is a professional-style grooming brush for dogs and cats, with real wood pins designed to separate tangles and reduce pulling.

• Small, 20 mm oval brush — a compact format for coat grooming.
• Thermo-treated Ash wood body — lightweight and durable for handling during brushing.
• Real wood pins — gently separate tangles from surrounding hair.
• 100% static-free pins — help keep brushing free from static.
• Made in Germany — a specific country of manufacture.

Brushing can be difficult for pets that dislike having their coats groomed. This brush is made for dogs and cats, including pets that are uncomfortable with brushing, and its wood pins give the brushing action a massage-like feel. It can also be used on a wet coat and for style drying.

How does the wood-pin brush work on tangles?

The real wood pins delicately separate a tangle from the rest of the hair, helping reduce painful pulling as you brush. The brush is also designed to redistribute natural oils through the coat. Its pins are 100% static-free, and they will not get hot during use.

• Use it to brush a wet coat.
• Use it during style drying.

What is the brush made from?

The brush has a lightweight, durable body made from thermo-treated Ash wood and real wood pins. The Small model has a 20 mm oval format. These material and size details describe the brush itself, while the wood pins provide the brushing contact with the coat.

• Thermo-treated Ash wood body.
• Real wood pins rather than metal pins.

Is this brush suitable for dogs and cats?

Yes. Chris Christensen made this brush for both dogs and cats, including pets that do not enjoy being brushed. The wood pins are intended to make brushing feel more like a massage, making the brush suited to regular coat-grooming sessions with these pets.

• Designed for canine and feline coat care.
• Made for pets that dislike brushing.

Chris Christensen’s grooming work began in 1996 with the development of White on White, a color-correcting shampoo for dogs and cats that helped shape the brand’s canine coat-care range. This brush suits owners and groomers seeking professional-style grooming with wood pins, including for wet-coat brushing and style drying. Its small oval format, wood construction, and use for both dogs and cats define who it is made for.
