• Stainless steel wire basket and genuine leather straps — create a metal cage-style muzzle with adjustable straps.
• Basket construction — lets dogs pant, drink and breathe while wearing the muzzle.
• Adjustable leather straps — allow the fit to be snug without rubbing.
• Designed for vet visits, grooming, nail trimming and training — suits common handling and care situations.
• Made for active medium and large dogs with long snouts — includes breeds such as Huskies, Border Collies and German Shepherds.

For dogs that may bite or pick up unwanted objects, a basket muzzle can provide a way to limit access while allowing normal panting and drinking. CleverTail’s metal cage design is intended for supervised situations such as veterinary appointments, grooming, nail care and training, as well as preventing dogs from eating harmful objects.

How do I check whether this muzzle fits my dog?

Choose this muzzle for a dog with a 12-inch (30.48 cm) snout circumference and 3½-inch (8.89 cm) snout length. The design is intended for medium and large dogs with long snouts, and the leather straps adjust for a snug fit.

• Suitable breeds named include Husky, Border Collie, Belgian Malinois, Akita, German Shepherd, Pit Bull and Labrador.
• Compare your dog’s snout measurements with the stated circumference and length when assessing fit.

Can my dog pant and drink while wearing the basket muzzle?

Yes. The open basket design allows a dog to pant, drink and breathe while the muzzle is on. It is designed to help limit biting, chewing and eating objects, rather than to close the mouth.

• Use situations include vet visits, grooming and nail trimming.
• Training and preventing access to harmful objects are also intended uses.

What is the muzzle made of, and how is it adjusted?

CleverTail combines stainless steel wire with genuine leather straps. The straps are adjustable and are designed to sit snugly without rubbing, giving owners a way to tailor the fit for a suitable long-snouted dog.

• The metal cage forms the basket around the dog’s muzzle.
• The leather straps provide the adjustable fit.

This muzzle is suited to owners of active medium and large dogs with long snouts who need a basket-style option for handling, grooming, training or limiting access to objects. Its stated fit measurements, stainless steel wire basket and adjustable genuine leather straps define the intended fit and design.
