Some dogs need a muzzle for close handling, training or situations where biting or picking up harmful objects is a concern. CleverTail’s basket-style design is made for medium and large dogs with long snouts, including breeds such as Dobermans, Collies, Belgian Malinois, Huskies and Greyhounds. Measure before choosing: the listed fit dimensions help you compare the muzzle with your dog’s snout rather than relying on breed name alone.

How do I check whether the muzzle fits?

The muzzle is sized for a snout circumference of 12 inches (30.48 cm) and a snout length of 4¼ inches (10.795 cm). Measure your dog’s snout and compare both dimensions with these figures before purchase; the muzzle is intended for dogs whose measurements match this fit. Its adjustable straps provide a way to secure the muzzle once fitted.

• Designed for medium and large dogs with long snouts.
• Named breed examples include Doberman, Collie, Belgian Malinois, Husky and Greyhound.

What is the basket made from, and how does it fasten?

CleverTail uses a steel wire basket with genuine leather straps. The steel is described as smooth and durable, while the leather straps adjust to help achieve a secure fit. The open basket structure allows the dog to breathe and drink while wearing the muzzle.

• Material combination: steel and genuine leather.
• Straps adjust for fit rather than relying on a fixed strap length.

When can I use this dog muzzle?

This muzzle is intended for situations that call for bite prevention or reduced access to objects the dog might eat. Its listed uses include veterinary visits, grooming, nail trimming and training; it is also intended for barking management. The basket design allows breathing and drinking during wear.

• Use cases include vet appointments and grooming sessions.
• Also intended for nail care, training and preventing the dog from eating harmful objects.

CleverTail’s metal basket muzzle is suited to owners of medium or large, long-snouted dogs who want an adjustable muzzle for handling, training or limiting biting and scavenging. It is a measurement-led fit, with a 12-inch circumference and 4¼-inch length as the comparison points.
