Comfort Expression Extra Large Waterproof Orthopedic Dog Bed with 3.5-Inch Egg-Crate Foam

Comfort Expression is a waterproof orthopedic dog bed designed to support large dogs’ joints and muscles, with 3.5 inches (8.89 cm) of 28D egg-crate foam and a soft, wraparound bolster.

• 3.5-inch 28D egg-crate foam — cushions the body and distributes support across joints and muscles.
• Four-sided wraparound design with broken-foam armrests — gives dogs a cushioned place to rest their head and neck.
• 41 x 26-inch (104.14 x 66.04 cm) plush sleeping area — offers room to move while resting.
• Removable cover with a liquid-resistant backing — helps protect the foam and can be machine washed.
• Oxford cloth base with small rubber grip particles — helps keep the bed from sliding on the floor.

Older dogs, large dogs with arthritis, and pets that like a cushioned place to nest or dig can benefit from a bed with both a supportive foam base and raised, soft sides. Comfort Expression combines these features in a single resting space for dogs and cats, with a plush surface for everyday naps and a protective cover construction for life’s wet-paw moments.

How does the foam support my dog?

The bed uses 28D egg-crate foam that is 3.5 inches (8.89 cm) high to provide soft, elastic cushioning beneath your pet. Its design is intended to support joints and muscles evenly, making the bed suitable for older dogs with anxiety and large dogs with arthritis. The raised sides add another place to settle, while the surrounding armrests provide a cushioned resting point for the head and neck. The combination creates a soft place to lie down as well as a nest-like edge for pets that like to curl up or dig before resting.

• Egg-crate foam forms the main sleeping cushion.
• Soft broken-foam armrests surround the bed.
• The padded, nesting-style design is made for dogs and cats.

Will my dog have enough room to lie down?

The plush sleeping area measures 41 x 26 inches (104.14 x 66.04 cm), giving a pet room to shift position while resting. Compare those measurements with the space your dog typically occupies when lying down to check the fit. The surface is made from PV plush, with a soft feel against skin, nose, and paws. The plush fabric is designed not to fluff or fade, so the sleeping surface keeps its intended finish with regular use.

• Sleeping-area dimensions: 41 x 26 inches.
• Surface material: PV plush.
• Designed for dogs and cats that enjoy a soft resting surface.

How do I clean the cover, and will the base stay in place?

The cover is removable by zipper and supports machine washing and low-temperature drying. A lining on the back of the cover helps prevent liquid from leaking through to the foam, helping protect the bed’s inner cushion. The bottom combines Oxford cloth with small non-slip rubber particles to help hold the bed in place on the floor when a pet settles down or moves around.

• Remove the cover using its zipper before washing.
• Machine washing and low-temperature drying are supported.
• Rubber grip particles are set into the Oxford cloth bottom.

Comfort Expression is suited to large dogs that need a roomy, cushioned place to rest, as well as older dogs and pets that prefer to nest against soft raised sides. Cats can also use its plush surface and surrounding cushion for resting. Choose it by comparing your pet’s usual lying space with the 41 x 26-inch sleeping area; its defining features are a foam cushion, supportive wraparound sides, and a cover with protective backing.
