Comfort Expression Orthopedic Dog Bed, Extra Large 34 x 26 in, Waterproof with Raised Sides

Comfort Expression’s waterproof orthopedic dog bed gives extra-large dogs a cushioned place to rest, with a 34 x 26 inch (86.4 x 66 cm) sleeping area for dogs under 90 lb (40.8 kg).

• Four-sided wrap with soft broken-foam arm rests — gives dogs a more enclosed place to settle.
• 3.5 inch (8.9 cm) 28D egg crate foam — cushions the body and supports joints and muscles evenly.
• PV plush sleep surface — feels soft and is gentle on skin, noses and paws.
• Waterproof lining beneath the removable cover — helps protect the foam from liquid.
• Small rubber grips on the base — help keep the bed from sliding on the floor.

Dogs that like a cushioned, enclosed place to curl up can rest on this bed’s orthopedic foam and raised wraparound sides. Its size and soft surface are made for larger dogs, while the nesting space can also suit cats. The covered foam core and removable cover make it practical for everyday use.

How does the bed support a dog’s head and body?

The four-sided design surrounds the sleeping area, and soft broken-foam arm rests cushion a dog’s neck and head. The egg crate foam is designed to distribute support across joints and muscles, with a cushioned surface for resting, nesting or digging. This design is especially suited to older dogs with anxiety and large dogs with arthritis; it is a comfort bed, not a treatment for a health condition.

• The arm rests surround the dog on all four sides.
• The bed is designed to help dogs fall asleep quicker and deeper.

Will this dog bed fit my pet?

The sleeping area measures 34 x 26 inches (86.4 x 66 cm) and is suited to dogs weighing under 90 lb (40.8 kg). Compare your dog’s resting space with the sleeping-area measurements to choose a suitable fit. The bed’s cushioned nesting area can also be used by cats.

• The plush surface does not fluff or fade.
• PV plush is gentle on a pet’s skin, nose and paws.

How do you clean the cover, and what protects the foam?

A waterproof lining on the back of the cover helps keep liquid from reaching the foam. The cover unzips for machine washing and can be dried at a low temperature; the foam itself is not washable. Small non-slip rubber particles on the underside help hold the bed in place during rest or play.

• Remove the cover using its zipper before washing.
• Machine wash the cover and use low-temperature drying.
• Keep the foam out of the wash.

This bed suits households looking for an enclosed, cushioned resting place for a large dog or cat, especially when a washable cover and joint-and-muscle support are priorities. Its defined sleeping area, foam core and removable, liquid-resistant cover make it a practical fit for everyday rest.
