COOSPIDER Aquarium Filter for 37.9–170 L Tanks, 6W UV Light, 158 GPH

COOSPIDER Aquarium Filter is an internal filter designed to clean and circulate water in 10–45 gallon (38–170 L) aquariums, combining an 8W, 158 GPH (598 L/h) pump with a 6W, 254 nm U-V light.

• Replaceable filter sponge — captures debris through physical filtration.
• Six functions — supports green-water cleaning, oxygen supply, deodorization, wave generation, circulation and water pumping.
• Independent pump and U-V switches — operate each function separately.
• IPX8 waterproof design — made for submerged use.
• Reusable filter cotton — can be cleaned and used again.
• One-year warranty — provides a defined warranty period.

Cloudy or green-looking aquarium water can make routine tank care more demanding. This internal filter combines a submersible pump, U-V light and replaceable sponge in one unit for aquarium water cleaning and circulation. It is made for tanks within its stated capacity range, with separate controls that let you run the pump and U-V light independently.

What aquarium size is this filter designed for?

COOSPIDER Aquarium Filter is designed for aquariums holding 10–45 gallons (38–170 L). Its 158 GPH (598 L/h) pump moves water through the filter, while the sponge provides physical filtration. The U-V light and sponge work together to purify aquarium water; the combined system can turn murky water clear within 3–7 days.

• The pump is rated at 8W.
• The U-V light is rated at 6W and 254 nm.
• The filter is an internal, submersible unit.

How do the filter and U-V light work?

The pump circulates water through the replaceable filter sponge, while the U-V light provides an additional water-cleaning function. Together, these components support the unit’s six functions: green-water cleaning, oxygen supply, deodorization, wave generation, water circulation and pumping. The filter is intended to help keep water clean and fresh and reduce the frequency of aquarium water changes.

• Use the independent switches to control the pump and U-V light separately.
• The U-V light is recommended for 1–2 hours per day, rather than continuous 24-hour operation.
• You can check whether the U-V light is on from outside the unit.

How do you install and clean the COOSPIDER Aquarium Filter?

Fully immerse the filter in the aquarium, then connect its power cord. The filter sponge and U-V light can be removed for cleaning, and the filter cotton can be reused after a simple rinse or cleaning. Its IPX8 waterproof design is intended for submerged operation.

• Clean the filter cotton for reuse.
• Disassemble the sponge and U-V light for cleaning.
• Keep the pump and U-V light on their separate switches as needed.

This filter suits aquarium keepers with a 10–45 gallon tank who want a single internal unit combining water circulation, physical filtration and U-V cleaning. Its capacity range, independently controlled pump and light, and reusable filter cotton make it a practical fit for that setup.
